About
The Crystal Coast Country Club sits along the Bogue Sound, sprawling across sand dunes and weaving through the Maritime Forest. The club boasts the only golf course on the 21-mile island of Pine Knolls Shores. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course doesn't have the length that some other championship layouts have but there are still plenty of challenges in store. In addition to bunkers that are strategically placed along the small greens and narrow fairways, water comes into play on 13 holes. Though there are some tight spots that can be tough to navigate, the golf course is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy. Regardless of ability, you'll be able to enjoy beautiful scenery, especially on the back nine where you'll have the best views of the Sound.

Great course - and staff!
First time playing; definitely won’t be last. Top-notch on all levels. From meeting my car with a cart before I could pop the hatch, to working us in around a WEDDING, to providing our last-minute joiner with premium loaners, to the great food and drinks at the clubhouse ... CCCC hit it on all cylinders during our visit this past weekend. Highly recommend.
A beautiful course with a lot of water
The course is in excellent condition and the greens are lighting fast. I’d like to play it again and I know I’d do better than my 87. It does have a few holes with some unexpected water.

Absolutely beautiful! Challenging for all levels but not crazy - very fair. Course was in great shape. Will definitely play here again when in the area again. Not to be missed!
Better than ever
I never do reviews but the condition of this course has improved so much over the last three years when they got a new owner that I have to say something.
It’s on the island so that’s a huge plus to avoid travel time in traffic.
The people that work there have always been nice but now they seem extra nice since the amenities they offer reflect it.
When you look at the card and see it short that does not reflect the wind and when you tell your friends what score you shot you’re probably not going to let them know it was only a par 70.
I’m looking forward to the next time I’m back in the area to play my next round.

Loved playing this course. Pretty narrow with a fair amount of water but also fairly short so worked well for my game. Greens were pristine. Highly recommend

Best views for the money!
I played this course first week of April, the views from several holes and fairways are breathtaking. Staff was very friendly. this deal through my golf pass was perfect. I even played with my 8-YO son and he hit some par 3s with his driver. I highly recommend this course to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful views, challenging course, not very long. Was the off-season. Greens were very good.
First Timer
So the wind was RIPPING today. My hat literally blew off of my head but that’s not the courses fault. I went into the day expecting to lose 5 balls and lost 4 so it was great. The course is beautiful and the staff was great. Worth every dollar. I will be back
The investments show
I played this course 4 or so years ago and it is completely different now than it was then. What an awesome improvement in the course and amenities. The group that purchased the course has put a tremendous amount of money and effort into improving the course and it definitely shows.
My only complaint would be about the lack of a true driving range (no drivers or woods on the driving range, just irons and wedges)
