About
The Crystal Coast Country Club sits along the Bogue Sound, sprawling across sand dunes and weaving through the Maritime Forest. The club boasts the only golf course on the 21-mile island of Pine Knolls Shores. At just over 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course doesn't have the length that some other championship layouts have but there are still plenty of challenges in store. In addition to bunkers that are strategically placed along the small greens and narrow fairways, water comes into play on 13 holes. Though there are some tight spots that can be tough to navigate, the golf course is player friendly enough for all skill levels to enjoy. Regardless of ability, you'll be able to enjoy beautiful scenery, especially on the back nine where you'll have the best views of the Sound.

Beautiful!
Loved playing this course. Pretty narrow with a fair amount of water but also fairly short so worked well for my game. Greens were pristine. Highly recommend

Best views for the money!
I played this course first week of April, the views from several holes and fairways are breathtaking. Staff was very friendly. this deal through my golf pass was perfect. I even played with my 8-YO son and he hit some par 3s with his driver. I highly recommend this course to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful views, challenging course, not very long. Was the off-season. Greens were very good.
First Timer
So the wind was RIPPING today. My hat literally blew off of my head but that’s not the courses fault. I went into the day expecting to lose 5 balls and lost 4 so it was great. The course is beautiful and the staff was great. Worth every dollar. I will be back
The investments show
I played this course 4 or so years ago and it is completely different now than it was then. What an awesome improvement in the course and amenities. The group that purchased the course has put a tremendous amount of money and effort into improving the course and it definitely shows.
My only complaint would be about the lack of a true driving range (no drivers or woods on the driving range, just irons and wedges)

I played here Nov 28, 2020. Course was in great condition despite some rain the last few days.
Staff was super helpful and friendly.
Its not a long course, but its tight with alot of water Hazzard. Short and straight wins the day.
I shot a personal beat 85 today and already booked tomorrow for a 2nd shot at this great course
Course Upgrades are Awesome
Played about 4 years earlier and it was so so, but now with all the upgrades and maintenance it is Awesome for the money. Very good condition from tee to green which now matches the views of the Bogue Sound.

The remodeling of this course makes it the best course in the area. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are perfect.

Short but challanging
A very tight golf course. Premium on shot placement. You can hit the fairway on several holes and still have to hit the ball over a tree to get to the pin. Thanks to the recent renovations, the course is in very good shape, although quite pricey. GPS on carts will stop you in the middle of a fairway if you drive in areas that are deemed low lying or wet. Some of these areas are marked and, unfortunately, some are not. Overall, it;'s a fun course if you are playing well, but very frustrating if you're not.
