Not good condition. Not rewarded for good shot usually. Greens in but too hard and fast while not true. Too many bald spots right off fairway. Tee boxes in bad shape. Too many blind shots. Too much space between many holes. Depressing area. Houses too close to course. Homes and area not taken care of. People walking dogs in course causing danger. Easy to hit a house or person/pet.

This pace of play was ridiculously slow and the greens were in TERRIBLE shape. Barely tapping putts sent them 10 feet past the hole. The staff seemed friendly and helpful, but it was not a good experience on the course

As usual, another great round of well groomed fairways, tough love rough and fast fair greens.

Staff was courteous enough too let me go off early in order to make an afternoon appointment. Thanks again to all.

The course was average. We had a fun time. The no cooler rule is dumb. Also they have a rule about people not being able to ride along which is also stupid. My girlfriend likes to go with me just to drive the cart. The fairways were in good condition, the greens were decent just very fast. The rough is very very thick. You will be searching for your ball all day. Other than that it was an average course with some nice scenery and places to drive the golf cart. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Last played this course a few years ago, before they were purchased by the Fred Smith Company. The course has come a long way from the bare fairways and burnt out greens, but it still has quite a ways to go. The fairways are certainly better but a few are not in good shape. Some tee boxes are downright embarrassing. Greens are certainly faster, but bumpy as heck. The course layout is actually pretty good, with holes that require shaping but have generous fairways that allow for some error. It is definitely not a bombers course. The rough in some places is punishing and your only shot may be a punch out. A couple of risk-reward holes keep things interesting, including a driveable par 4, and the par 3s are a good mix of distances. If the course continues on this upward trajectory, it'll work its way into the upper echelon of Raleigh tracks. If you can find a tee time for under $30, give it a shot. Over $30? Go elsewhere.

Played very early today and, of course, pace of play was great! Course conditions were horrible! It rained pretty hard last night and this course does not do well with drainage. Ground was soggy and every bunker was a huge pool of water - every one! Fairways had weeds and bald patches. Some tee boxes were in great shape (better than fairways), others were nothing but dirt. Greens were ok. Some had damage around the edges but for the most part ok. A course I can mark as played but will, unfortunately, be at the bottom of my list. The care and feeding a nice golf course needs this course is not getting.

The course has a unique design and the conditions are great for the price. Tee boxes could be cleaned up a bit and few greens/fairways are spotty, but overall it gives you a nice challenge! Great practice areas and the staff is always nice!

Greens growing in nicely and rolling fast maybe too fast for beginners who play here. Mud in some bunkers, but overall good condition after a hurricane!

Nice little local course for the money. Fairways are in good shape and most tee boxes are clean, greens have yet to recover fully from aeration in May (which was a dumb time to do that IMO). Clubhouse staff are pretty rude per usual at cheaper courses. They have a pretty nice beer selection and grill but keep strange hours. Pretty crowded usually due to price pout and course length. Super short layout but really fun. All in all I recommend for an easy round but nothing special. Make sure to book on GolfNow because their advertised prices on website are based on GN and they will not honor that pricing in person. Very strange practice

There are noticeable improvements. Greens are tough

as I prefer. Back in 2015 I had averaged 3 rounds a week

and as I said the overall conditions are great.

Liked course layout. Heavy rain last night and bunkers were water logged and carts were path only. Also greens were aerated about a week ago. But still playable. Had fun.

This course is in bad shape. Tee boxes are chewed up and no grass to hit off of. Tons of bare places all around the course, even on some of the greens. I haven't played here is a while and I remember it being in much better shape.

The course was very dry, covid restrictions were a must by staff and customers were not wearing masks. The greens just got punched so they were not rolling well. A lot of 5 somes on the course, slow pace of play. Just a bad day overall.

No starter or marshall.

Instead of putting our twosome & 2 singles behind us together, we had just that. Turned out all 4 of us had the same 10:40 tee time, bought online at TeeOff. We had a threesome in front of us and a threesome in front of them. Everybody was waiting on every shot, including at least two groups on a tee box at the same time. Still ended up playing in 4 hours, but seemed longer.

I asked , before starting if we were to take a cart for each of us. The man said we were to ride together. I said, the guys on the tee box are singles in a cart. He said they weren't supposed to be. There were a lot of people on the course in a cart by themselves. Having a starter would have fixed all the things I've mentioned..

Greens were going thru aeration and the back nine was closed. Still found the day challenging and enjoyable. The fairways and bunkers were " up to par" and found many good lies in the middle and approach. Could have played the front nine again however, I was accommodated with a voucher for the back nine to play later. Hates off the AJ and the rest of the staff. Can't wait to play the back nine.
