Tough shape
Course in tough shape . Greens suffer from golfer indifference and disease . U kinda get what u pay for .
Fun Course
I played RGA on a Sunday and had a fun round. Fairways were lush, greens good, and tee boxes can use some work. It has improved a lot over the last time I played last year. Great track for the money.
Needs Work
Played this course several times over the years and it never disappoints, but never impresses. Large practice green and a wedge range is all you get for a warmup. Course layout is not challenging, so if you're having a bad day off the tee, you won't be punished like you would at other courses. Back nine is a little tighter than the front, and the stockholders nine is about as wide as the front. Fairways and rough are in decent shape. I know it's hot out, but for what this place charges, the greens should be in much better condition and a little faster; They current sit probably around 7.5-8. If you're used to playing on faster Bermuda greens, be prepared to slam your putts here. A few tee boxes are in terrible shape and it's tough to find a level lie for about half of the tees. Relatively walker-friendly. If your goal is to go out and work on some shots to some smaller greens, good course. If you're looking for a challenge and willing to pay $35-40, especially for greens that are 10 or faster, definitely go elsewhere.
Good For Price
This course is not a standout, but for weekend golfers and folks who aren't trying to pay $35 plus for 18 roles, it is excellent. the staff tries to accommodate everyone. Pace of play was slow at times, but groups would let you play through. If you are just getting comfortable with playing the game, this is a great course to start on.
Average
The greens were punched and slow.
The tee boxes need a Lot of work! Overall, a good practice course.
Basically the same old RGA
Early Saturday morning round, so worth it given the price of the alternatives. Staff brought carts out to us as we parked, check-in was quick, and teed off on time. Front nine played quicker than the back, but we never had to wait or pushed on pace of play at any time.
Tee on 14 had been pushed back to the road in the years since we played here last, but pretty much the same course otherwise. A bunch of shorter than average holes through 13, and slightly more challenging after that.
Great Condition
The course is in great condition and the staff are super nice. Will definitely go back.
Solid course
The course is in great shape and has a nice layout. It is very open for the most part and does not have a lot of hazards, but the pin positions add a nice element of difficulty. The greens were in good shape and played pretty fast. I will definitely be back and would recommend it for beginners and experienced players.
First time @ RGA...Nice relaxing round … course in decent shape … just challenging enough... will definitely play again... Good value for the $$$'S
Course is in rough shape
The pace of ply was ridiculously slow and the grounds need TLC. Huge sections of dirt/rocks in the fairways and several greens are in disrepair.
Good course
Had a really good time today on this course. The fairways and greens were in good condition and the pace of play was pretty quick!
