Played with a really nice couple who was able to help me with the course layout and where to shoot. The greens were in tough shape due to reseeding but they gave us the round with a discount. The staff was pretty strict about the cart part observance even though it was pretty dry when we played. Not the most laid back course but worth a try for the value.

The greens lacked any grass at all, just painted dirt with a bunch of footprints. The layout is very nice and the rest of the course is in good shape. We waited on every tee box and we had four in our group.

The course was packed - warm day in winter. Because the course was full the pace of play suffered. The course was in good shape and the greens were fairly fast. Was paired with several players - very enjoyable company.

Course was in good shape and the greens rolled true. After two weeks of below freezing temperatures it says a lot for the course to be in that condition

I have played this course quite a number of times and it never stop to amaze me how the staff at this facility are nice and real professional. The course is quite challenging. Every time you think you have figured it out, it gets you. Some holes are killers like hole # 12 a long per 5.

As far as the staff, short story; I lost my wedding band on one of the green, next day the lady at the counter gave me a cart and let me go out there and look for it. What a nice gesture. Also, one of the days the place was packed and there were a group of kids playing slow. Got frustrated and I went back at the desk. They offered a rain check of the same amount. They did not have to do it because I played 6 holes. But they did. Nice people and not to mention well-kept course. Since then, I never get tired playing here. I am a sold customer.

Wil-Mar golf course continues to get better and better.

It's a fun golf course and just the right right length and

difficulty to challenge the mid to high handicapper. The staff is very pleasant and the food is a plus too! An enjoyable easy going round of golf to play.

We started with a 50 min frost delay. The staff was friendly and kept us informed of when we we up to play. The pace a play was horrible, it was 5 hours and waited at most every tee box. The fairways we a little lacking and the greens were hard to hold and very fast.

Have played this course several times and it still remains a staple in the rotation. It’s relayively easy with a few challenging holes. Some holes require some imagination off the tee which helps to break up any monotony. For the first time, pace of play was a huge issue. For some odd reason, the staff sent out a 5some as the lead group for 3 more 4somes. Not sure who thought that was a good idea. Normally, I can get around in about 3.5 hours with a buddy or two m. It took 3 hours just to play the front. It’s not good when you tee off at 12:30 and have trouble finishing before dark. Plan better. The two complaints I have that haven’t changed (or been addressed):

1. For the love of God, speed up the greens. It’s cooler weather and the greens can handle it. Anything below a 9 is unacceptable with current weather conditions.

2. Although not important right now with less daylight, the bar needs to be open past 5. In the summer, you’re giving up a lot of potential revenue to those twilight golfers.

Nice track with a professional/courteous staff. Will play it again and recommend the club to any golfer. Staff keeps the course in shape.
