Course was in very good condition, fairways and greens are well kept, people repair their ballmarks and the greens show it. Great staff, very personable and accommodating.

This is a great course for a relaxing round. I was getting out with a friend who is not an as experienced golfer so we both were able to enjoy the round. Layout is shorter from a distance perspective and wide open which allows for some mistakes off the tee. The back nine tightens up a bit but all in all I would recommend Wil Mar and will definitely play again. Only knock was that the greens were a bit dry so they played extremely quick on approach shots and made for some inconsistent putting.

The course is always been in good condition hats off to the maintenance crews, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

I teamed up with a couple of great guys who play every Tuesday. This was my second time with them. I'm going to try to join them each week. Golfnow is the bomb!

Course was in great shape! I'm not a big hitter so the length is prefect for my game. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I know it was a holiday but the pace of play was not good. I couldn't get a good rhythm' Will definitely play again.

It is hard to beat this course for the money. Greens were in much better shape since they worked on them early in the summer. I will be back soon.

This course is currently in great shape. Greens are soft but roll decent. Everything is lush due to the recent rains. Fun course with moderate difficulty. Tips are only 6100 yards. Pace of play is fine midweek with rounds typically lasting me 3hr15min in a 2Some. If it's crowded it can be a bit slow with the good ole boys. But for 12-15 bucks for a hit deal it's the best deal in North Raleigh. Definitely my go to right now.

This course is in great shape from the tee boxes to the greens. I've played here many times and must say they maintain the course consistently. It's not the most challenging layout but still fun to play. The back nine is a little narrower challenging the player to keep shots straight.

Overall, it's a great deal considering the green fees are very reasonable.

I definitely recommend it. My only grief with this course is some days it tends to get a little crowded and the pace of play can get close to 5 hours. From time to time the pace is fast as was my last outing there.

I've played this course a few times in the past and it's definitely trending up. They have new carts and their grill/bar has been redone and looks much better than what they had before. Course conditions are very good for a public course and for the price. Greens roll very nicely and the few greens which used to be in bad shape seem to have come back around. It's a pretty straightforward course with minimal hazards. I would definitely recommend it as a good practice course or for beginners. The only downside to our round (7:52am) tee time is that they don't pair up everyone. We had to let several 2somes play through even though we were playing pretty quick (4 hour round for a 4some is pretty good). I understand if it was later in the afternoon but at 8-9am in the morning, they should be pairing all 2somes together. Other than that, we had a great time and I'll definitely come back to play it again.

Well maintained. Fairways were in great shape. The greens were pretty slow and two were sandy but still ran OK. The carts were in great shape and the staff were extremely nice. First time playing here but it won't be the last.

Tried the course for the first time. Course was beautiful. Great condition but clearly they had overbooked. I would describe it as a carnival. There was a couple in front of us that the son was new to the game. Allowed him to drop 2-3 balls throughout. Pace of play just killed it for us. As average players ourselves, we still respect other people playing behind us but there were players like the ones in front of us everywhere. At first seemed like it was going to be a great day. Starter was very kind. We quit after 10 holes. Couldn't take it anymore. We did approach the starter when we were leaving and he didn't have much to say.

I play this course often but that may be changing...the Pace of play has consistently gotten worse. Even the starter made a comment about not understanding why he had sent 3 4somes out and would be following that with 5 2somes....why not group people up? We were the third 2some so it took forever...we even paired up with the group behind us on the 3rd hole. The ranger who was out was useless. Hope to see changes or I will play other courses much more often.
