Course is improving slowly but getting better. Fairways and roughs were mowed and in much better condition. Greens were recently sand and fertilized and hopefully be in good shape this spring. Staff was friendly and pace of play was excellent. Did have one issue with the cart battery
More play Less pay
I really enjoy playing when I receive my money worth. The staff are always helpful and friendly. I haven’t diined there but intend to soon.
Nice layout but course needs millions of dollars of work.
Scam
Don’t waste your time. Booked using the app that glady accepted my reservation fee only to discover the course is in shambles and completely locked up without a soul in sight at the time of my tee time. Staff, if they even have any, did not return any of my 3 calls when they did decide to show up.
Please don’t spend your money
If you only read one review please let it be this one. This is a horrible course run by someone who doesn’t care about it or you. The previous owner milked the course dry and never put any money into it; before him it was once a very prestigious course. The new owner came in a year ago with promises of turning the place around to the point it would be a pga training facility. This was just a lie. He dumped money into the clubhouse, getting a bar and resturant setup; and that was it. Any money spent here on golf is a waste and is going to a person who couldn’t care less about the course. As someone who has lived in the area for a long time and grew up on NorthGreen; just let this course die.
Strong support
They are really trying to make it a competitive course.I’m really impressed with the way it’s coming along.Great staff!
Great Pace for Learning.
Let’s admit it, it needs work and needs improvement, but so does my game.
Perfect to play and have ability to hit multiple shots for practice without getting rushed.
Lost multiple balls in middle of fairway and in first cut.
Greens are hard and barely puttable, but that makes you just want to stick it within 5’.
I hope the upcoming construction is to address some of this. Could be wonderful but still a great place to take the friends and family and for game improvement.
Still way more fun that hitting at the range.
Seemingly a dying course.
Pretty good layout and no one there to rush you. Most of the sprinkler system is leaking and messed up so grass it terrible on the greens and fairways. The bunkers are mini ponds on some holes and a weed dumping spot in others. Was told by a staff member that the owner doesn’t want to invest in the corse and if so it’s a shame because honestly the bones here are good but it needs lots of work. If the corse was $10 or less I’d suck it up but the price currently is a bit high.
Way sub par
The course was in terrible shape obviously it has been neglected for some time.
A sad state
This is my first time playing and I figured the other reviews were exaggerating the poor condition. They were not. The fairways and tee boxes had 3+ inches of grass and weeds throughout and the greens were about the height of a scraggly fairway. The rough was calf to knee height and was full of seeders. It was nearly impossible to find a ball regardless of where it landed. I hope someone can revive this place because the layout is a great challenge.
Bad
Course is in horrible condition. Fairways barely cut, you can get a better lay in your backyard. Weeds growing all over the greens, may as well be putting on rough. Bunkers dry as can be. Make sure to bring about 100 balls because you lose 4 every hole in the fairway and rough. Played here because of the rate…. I would not play here again for FREE. It is that bad.
Course layout is fun people staff is great but the course is poorly maintained greens are terrible fair ways aren’t good either grass needs to be cut lost multiple balls from over grown rough and tall fair ways other than course being over grown and needing tlc
Don’t play
Poorly maintained. No disclosure of non maintenance. Easy to lose a ball in middle of fairway. Greens gone. Sad.
Course with potential if it’s maintained
Interesting layout of the course, not boring, but fairways grass was too long (could barely find the ball on the fairway).
The greens were even a bigger disaster. Too bad because I think the course has potential.
