Quail Ridge Country Club

This was my first visit to Quail Ridge after driving by it numerous times. I was a little concerned because it rained A LOT the afternoon before my morning tee time, but a read a review that said the course drained well. To my pleasant surprise that review was spot on! Although we were on the cart paths throughout, the course was in very good shape and arguably drivable. The bunkers were very well maintained and the greens were rolling nicely. I was pleased with the overall conditions, pace of play and facilities. Overall a great experience. I will be undoubtedly return!

In beautiful weather, played the course for the first time. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Fairways were a slightly soft following rain on the previous day. Low tee shots with a draw still ran nicely. Greens were very quick, putting from above the hole was treacherous. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will be back.

First time at Quail Ridge, and it was awesome. Course was in such good such, fairways were great and the greens fun but challenging. Definitely going back for many rounds with the boys!

Course is always oversewed and green; plenty of grass in all the right places. The layout is unspectacular but right now, the value is tough to beat. Good conditions and while still expensive, one of the more fairly priced rounds in the area.

Not a great value for the price. Course is ok, but pace wasn’t great and the carts wanted to shut off due to fencing when we were still on the cart path.

Course was wetter than expected, some ponding in bunkers and soft spots here and there. Little poa in the greens but firm and quick and roll true. Every lie in the fairway was a good one. I felt the rates were on the high side but I get it, got a nice price on the GN app but 80$/per rack rate on Sunday afternoon is a turn off. I paid 96 total for a twosome 18 riding and was satisfied, would gladly give it again to play here.

Great conditions on a great lay out. Best part is that it is always that way. Family owned and run.

I always enjoy Quail Ridge. The staff is very friendly. Somehow while all other courses are dormant and colorless, Quail is green and lush. The Fairways are a nice break from all of the tight lies in Pinehurst. Great course. Lots of fun and the Grill is sneaky good.
