Awesome course

Caught a hot deal on golfnow and play for 30$. Course was in great shape and the staff was amazing, I'll definitely go back even without a hot deal.

Fantastic Golf Outing

Heck of a course! Grounds-crew have done an excellent job to keep the course afloat despite the recent drought. Traps were raked exceptionally well and tee boxes striped to perfection. Rough sat nicely and had no complaints about greens. Spoke to a groundsmen named Louis whilst he was weed eating and had a very friendly conversation.

Honest assessment

When I am able to play "private" courses, my expectations are higher than normal. Nothing to write home about this course and course conditions not impressive at all. Greens were great , staff was friendly...other than that, it was your average course NC. Nothing made me feel like I wanted to play it again.

Who Knew...

Great track... you better be able to hit it straight and long... great test from Blue Tees... lots of blind shots, so I suspect the next round will be a touch easier... front and back are completely different... back is much harder... fun track... we played as a twosome on a Sunday at 10am in 3 hours! Awesome...

Good value at a nice course using hot deal on GolfNow

Good value at a nice course using hot deal on GolfNow. The course is fun and challenging… Because it’s early in the season, the fairways requite hard and especially around the greens, hard to get from… Greens were spectacular, and some of the pin placements tricky, but super fun. The only snacks that were available were in the pro shop, as only members are allowed in the snack bar/restaurant. I would definitely play again if I were in the area…

Play it if you can!

This course is a gem that is usually only available to it's membership. Well maintained and challenging but very playable with the various tees. Play it if you can!

Great old track

Played it while passing through, which this course is perfect for due to it being semi private. $45 for member for a day that gives you access to the pro shop and the course.

Front 9 is pretty straight forward, tree lined but big fairways, very receptive medium sized bent grass greens that roll true with not much break.

Back 9 is alot tougher with elevated tee boxes and greens along with blind dogleg shots.

The course is relatively short so it's a fun track to play, members will let you play through and not very busy. There is no cart on the courst, but plenty of water and bathrooms. Scenery is awesome with some houses and old trees.

If you are in the area, it's a must play, especially considering the price. There is no driving range but you can put and chip on the practice green.

Challenging Track! No crowds

I tried in vain to find a course preview online for this course but all I could find were a few picture, a scorecard and good ol’ google maps. All I can say is this course is all about elevation change. Don’t let the first couple of hole fool you on each nine. Almost every other drive and approach will be uphill or downhill. Some up hill approaches I was forced to club up two clubs they were that step. I like how whoever designed the course kept the natural layout of the property. This is a country club so they do a have a few easy to follow rules but the staff was very welcoming. Elephant in the room for me, however, was where are all the members? Playing most of my golf around Charlotte it has been a long time since I have played a round of golf in the middle of the day and not seen a single other golfer. Now, the greens were sandy after maintenance but still rolled very pure, it was a Tuesday afternoon and the weather was a bit windy, but still where were the members. Also be ready to go when you show up this course does not have a driving range. All in all the golf now deal was a great value for the price.

Great Course With One Caveat

I was happy to see this course on the GolfNow app. As a GolfPass member they offered “Member for a day” tee times. So I booked spots for my regular foursome. Once we checked in we were notified that the membership doesn’t have tee times there so non-members basically get pushed back to let members ahead (probably something that non-members should be notified of when booking tee times). We were in no hurry so we patiently waited rolling some putts on the putting green.

Now the course was great. The layout was nice, the front side is much easier than the back. The fairways are tree lined, but not so dense you can’t find a ball if you happen to send a few offline. The greens were great, to me this is the gem of the course. I’m not sure if they had a tournament prior to us playing, or one scheduled after but the pin placements were brutal. Like the greenskeeper was in a bad mood lol. All in all it’s a great track and we all enjoyed our round.

Now onto my one issue. We booked a tee time that stated, “member for a day”. Once we finished our round we headed into the bar to have a celebratory drink. We were quickly told by other patrons that the bar was for members only, and that they sold beer out of the clubhouse. I feel like this gives off the wrong vibe. If you are a member for a day, treat the person as such.

I staff was super nice, helpful, and courteous. I just think there are a few caveats that you should be made aware when booking a time there. Great course, great staff, I am sure we will play again if the opportunity presents itself. Next time we will just bring a few mini bottles for ourselves. ;)

Hidden Gem -

Course was in decent shape for time of year. The greens rolled true and fast. By far the best part of course. Tee boxes where starting to come in, fairways where a bit rough and the cart paths need work. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I good mix of holes; 2 of par 5. are reachable and it had two drivable par 4’s. Good mix is holes. If miss the green or on wrong side you better have a very strong short game as the greens have allot of undulations and most have glass fronts. Great value for the area.

A Country Club Treat

My son and I played at Cleveland Country Club for the first time. The Club Pro checked us in and was very welcoming and professional. This was a pleasant way to start a new venue. The front nine is less difficult than the back nine. All the greens were in superb condition.. The asphalt cart paths could use some repair or replacement. We look forward to playing here again.
