Resort Course at Talamore Golf Resort is a Rees Jones masterpiece that was nominated as "Best New Public Course of the Year" when opened and has become a regular stop for annual returnees to Pinehurst.

The centuries-old tradition of using llamas to help humans carry packs has been revived with a new twist at Talamore. These gentle, hardy animals can carry two bags of clubs with ease and sure-footedness. Their soft padded feet are kind to the delicate surfaces of a golf course. Known for their friendly and quiet manners, llamas make the perfect caddies. Now you can treat yourself and your friends to a truly distinctive golf experience.

Staff, from greeter to the woman who collected the cart upon finishing were friendly and professional.
Course was very fair. Short par 4's had narrow greens.
Greens were very fast and true.
Traps (of which we hit a few) were challenging and fair.
Lunch was excellent and fairly priced.
