About
Resort Course at Talamore Golf Resort is a Rees Jones masterpiece that was nominated as "Best New Public Course of the Year" when opened and has become a regular stop for annual returnees to Pinehurst.
The centuries-old tradition of using llamas to help humans carry packs has been revived with a new twist at Talamore. These gentle, hardy animals can carry two bags of clubs with ease and sure-footedness. Their soft padded feet are kind to the delicate surfaces of a golf course. Known for their friendly and quiet manners, llamas make the perfect caddies. Now you can treat yourself and your friends to a truly distinctive golf experience.

Awesome staff. Awesome course. Pace of play was awful this day but of all the times I have played, this is the first bad experience. Was due to frost delay. I plan to play the course many more times.

Excellent Challenge for All
Course offers tees for all skill sets. It’s a fun layout to play and the difficulty is dependent on what markers you choose to play it from. Bunker redos are wonderful and punishing of a wayward shot. Greens were top end as expected. Good facilities and the pro shop folks are very friendly.

Resort course, but no pitch-and-putt
Talamore is a solid test of golf! From the creative layout to the sod faced wall bunkers, it’s all/you/can eat, especially from the tips! Fast greens but friendly kicks into the wide fairways make this a fun and must play when in the Pinehurst area! Nice practice area with Top Tracer technology! This course is ALWAYS on our rotation!

Course just reopened after several days of extreme cold weather with greens being covered with tarps. Conditions were very good and greens were smooth and true. Only issue was occasionally getting the tees into the still frozen ground on several tee boxes. Overall an outstanding experience.

Enjoyable Round
Really enjoyed the round. Course was in great shape. Greens were fast and true.
Only negative was cart path only. There was some rain early but honestly there was only one spot on one fairway that was close to being “wet” and that was a low spot in the first fairway. Pace of play would have been much much better.

Fantastic Course
Played here as part of a guys golf trip. The consensus among the 8 of us was that this was by far our favorite course. Fairways and greens were pristine, we finished in 4 hours, the staff was friendly, and the clubhouse provided a great atmosphere for a post match beer. It was also a great value. Other top courses in the area are 2x the rate, but I can't imagine how they could be twice as nice. I would love to play here again.

Great but SLOW
Excellent course with fast tricky greens, but the pace of play was incredibly SLOW.
