Winding Creek Golf Club in Thomasville is an 18-hole municipal course that is one of the most affordable rounds in the area. It is a regulation-length layout that measures 6,367 yards from the tips. The design is a true target-golf test that is player friendly enough for beginners but will also challenge more advanced players. The golf course is perched atop one of the highest points in Davidson County. From elevated tees and greens you can enjoy dramatic views as well as some intimidating shots. It's a golf course that will most likely have you using every club in your bag. Though there is plenty of variety, the course isn't too formidable for high handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Winding Creek also has a putting green and driving range that you can use for warming up.

FIX YOUR BALL MARKS!!

Course is challenging, especially in the heat. But my biigest gripe isn’t the course….. it’s the players with no respect for the greens or other players.

It takes no time at all to fix a ballmark….. do it while your partner(s) is/are putting.

Grounds people can’t do everything! Maybe they could put divot mix on the carts….

Overall, I enjoyed the round and fixed at least 2 marks on every green!

Would play again!

Me and my girlfriend very much enjoyed our time spent on this course for the first time.

Only negative thing at all was there were a few blind holes and we were hit on to on them a few times before anyone knew we were ahead of them.

Out of all the courses in the greater Winston-Salem area, this one takes the cake. Very reasonable pricing, almost too good to be true. Then you start playing and see that the greens are immaculate. Fairways are nicely cut and overall the course is in a much better shape than majority of your muni courses that’ll charge at least $10+ per round.
