Winding Creek Golf Club in Thomasville is an 18-hole municipal course that is one of the most affordable rounds in the area. It is a regulation-length layout that measures 6,367 yards from the tips. The design is a true target-golf test that is player friendly enough for beginners but will also challenge more advanced players. The golf course is perched atop one of the highest points in Davidson County. From elevated tees and greens you can enjoy dramatic views as well as some intimidating shots. It's a golf course that will most likely have you using every club in your bag. Though there is plenty of variety, the course isn't too formidable for high handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Winding Creek also has a putting green and driving range that you can use for warming up.

Pretty good
A hillside course with tons of undulations. This course was solid tbh with both challenges for skilled players and forgiveness for more beginner players but something about this course feels both wide open and crampt at the same time. When I think of the layout it was pretty fantastic yet lacked something to make it truly special. Had no issues with pace on a Saturday.

This is a well maintained, challenging, interesting mountain course, priced very fairly for the value. A short drive from Winston Salem, and well worth the trip. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape, lots of great holes. Highly recommended!
Had an 11:02 tee time and teed of at 11:35. Pace of of play was terrible. Layout of course wasn’t great. Tee boxes were dirt. Just overall not a good course. May have been better if greens weren’t aerated either.
