Winding Creek Golf Club

Tee time was at 1:56. Teed off at 2:30. Cart died around the second hole. New cart started dying around hole 4. Had the other people in the group use their cart to push us on. Took 4 an a half hrs to play 9 holes. Paid for 18. Didnt even get to the back nine.I understand stuff happens but to over book and not have enough carts is dumb. We should have been given rain checks since they were over booked

For the value of the course and condition can not beat it.

Very rude, I get there was a frost delay but if I have a tee time at 830 and your “friends” have one at 915 they should never tee off before me

Course in great shape. Greens fast. Pace was good for a Saturday. Overall. Great day to have played

This is a great course for the money! The staff is alsways friendly, the food especially their hotdogs is great, the pro shop is well stocked and great values. I only have one knock - I’ve been playing golf for 30 years and have only had 2 close calls on being hit by balls, both were at this course and were 2 consecutive rounds only a couple weeks apart. I’m not sure if it’s the layout, the folks who play there or a combination of both. I highly recommend the course, but keep you head on a swivel when you play Winding Creek!

The course was in good shape. The fairways, bunkers, greens and rough were all very good. The tee boxes are something else though. Good grass but you are either hitting from a hole or standing in a hole on every blue tee box. The pace of play was close to 6 hours with a 845 tee time. Part of this was the 45 minute delay on the first tee. I’ve never been a fan of course starters or pace of play rangers. This course is in desperate need of both.

Great golf course. Fairways, tee boxes, and greens all kept really well. The greens were bent and rather slow but in good shape and consistent across the board. Greens definitely keep it from being an A+ course but otherwise I would absolutely play again for the price. Also be warned there are lots of blind shots so getting hit into and hitting into groups in front of you is almost inevitable so keep your hard hats on.

From a distance the course looks great. Once on the greens you’ll see they’re absolutely horrible! There’s no possible way they’ve been rolled this week. And with steady, constant play you can just try to imagine how pitted up they are. And now add that to almost fairway length grass and you can imagine how delighted we were to get out of there. Very disappointing. We’ve love those course the previous times we’ve played. Not this time. And it’ll be a loooooong time before we return.

Great golf course over all. The condition is great for the end of August. The greens were recently plugged and will be in great shape again soon.

Plays longer than you think and the slopes are insane. I played collegiate golf and I’ve played very few courses designed like this one. Fun and challenging. Greens were slow but it’s bent grass, and it’s that time of the year. Superintendent is doing a great of a job with his expense limit.

The course is in great shape. The greens are beautiful not slow, not fast. No bad lies in the fairways. It gets real busy later in the day. I went out at 7:02 and played in under 4 hours.

Had a great time and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Great value for the price.
