Winding Creek Golf Club in Thomasville is an 18-hole municipal course that is one of the most affordable rounds in the area. It is a regulation-length layout that measures 6,367 yards from the tips. The design is a true target-golf test that is player friendly enough for beginners but will also challenge more advanced players. The golf course is perched atop one of the highest points in Davidson County. From elevated tees and greens you can enjoy dramatic views as well as some intimidating shots. It's a golf course that will most likely have you using every club in your bag. Though there is plenty of variety, the course isn't too formidable for high handicappers. In addition to the golf course, Winding Creek also has a putting green and driving range that you can use for warming up.

Blind shot course
This is a hard course to play. Blind shots almost every hole. Wet conditions. Traps. Pond. Creeks. Woods.
Nice view mountain course
it is challenging as lots of undulations and slopes., interesting and fun with nice Mountain View as well.
Wide open course
Great wide open course with challenges on some holes. Tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens are in great shape! Good range with chipping area and even an area to practice bunker shots. Big practice green by the clubhouse.

First time playing at Winding Creek. Nice course with a solid layout. Pace of play was good. Great value and will try to play again when I am in the area.

Course was in great shape. Hard to get a post round beer, snack bar was not manned.
Great Course
This was my second time playing here. Most of the greens were well maintained. The staff was friendly. I will definitely add Winding Creek to my rotation.
Great Track
Really enjoyed the course. Excellent shape. Great pace of play but it was a Monday. There are a ton of uneven lies, undulation, and blind shots. Definitely recommend getting the course outlay book and oftentimes driving up ahead to see where to aim. There isn’t a better bang for your buck in my opinion.
Nice views
What a nice views this beautiful course has but be aware, this is a very tough golf course, it has hills, down hill, up hill and much more. Its a must play one time in your life. It will kick your butt.
Not bad
This course looks wide open but is tight in spots and enough trouble around to keep you interested It’s not worth a long drive but if you live around there it’s a great value course and greens were in good shape
