The tee boxes are flat and have grass , fairways were very good and ball set up nicely for your shot and the greens rolled around a 8 and we're tricky in regards to break .This was the first time I have played this course and you need to know where to hit the ball as some tee shots are blind shots.

4 of us drove from pinehurst to winding creek we really enjoyed it even though course was soaked it played will seeing how we had none stop rain for 3 days straight. Will return!

Ok so my disclaimer is I’m considered by my peers to be an avid golfer meaning I play at least 4 times a week, so Life is really good right now considering as well I live in a golf course for me to travel to play and pay has to be something pretty special and TODAY IT WAS! First the staff was friendly yes they was practicing social distancing only allow one person at a time in the pro shop, created and handed a first time yardage book which was very helpful! The range needs work , however the course was Awesome you better shape your tee shot because the bounces and wind is no joke great test of golf ! Not to mention the views plenty of chances to score par that is because birdies are require some very very accurate iron shots ! Yes some holes are wide open and you can well on driver and go from there, besides the golf take the time to listen to the birds and enjoy the pace of play my team time was 8:45 and I was able to play and enjoy myself! Please keep on in mind that I drive 2 hrs to get to this track and I will do it agin in a heart beat! Yes the cart path a little bumpy but what to expect in the mountains! All I can say is book the course and see for yourself already got a foursome for next week line up to play !!

Have played the course 6 times in the last year. It’s mostly a wide open course and forgiving of the slice on many tee shots.

Super friendly staff and very accommodating of groups. It is in great shape especially considering how much play it gets.

Great value and will continue to play this course as part of our regular rotation.

One of the best courses around for the money. Great combination of easy and difficult holes.

Busy day on this course, still finished in 4 hrs. Firm and smooth fairways, greens recently aerated but decent though bumpy. The layout is challenging as always and fun because of it. Had a great time and will come back.

It was a packed Friday afternoon. So pace of play was a little slow all around. The greens had just been aerated, so it only got 4 stars. There were hardly any ball marks on the greens and fairway divots were well maintained.

We were not made aware that they had just aerified the greens. Course was okay but that really put a damper on the round.

wish access to greens could be a little closer for the carts. seems most are a good distance away from where carts allowed. I'm no spring chicken.

Winding Creek is one of the best values around. The course is not very long, but has real teeth if you’re not accurate off the tee. Course conditions are very good, other than the rash of ball marks on the greens which seem to be more prevalent than ever this year.

The course is pretty hilly, so walkers will get a good workout. Tee boxes are typically pretty close to the previous greens,

This is one of my favorite tracks in the area because of the challenges it provides at a reasonable price.

Have played this course twice in the last week and a half super nice greens are in great conditions and would be even better if everybody would fix there ball marks staff was friendly and weather was perfect will play this course alot in the future

Great great with various elevation levels. In my opinion, the course length is perfect. It’s definitely worth a try!

People were slow, not letting any singles by (me). No one fixing divots, raking traps. I would probably play again but during the week.
