Not family friendly
The staff there did not know how to ring up a tee time booked through golf now. It happened to me and the people in front of us. Neither of the groups ended up playing because it was a clown show.
They would not let my two young boys ride in the golf cart with me. Is unfortunate because we vacation here often and this golf course is nearby.
Me and my family will not play this golf course until policy and management changes.
Good Place to Practice
Short course and difficult first time out because of many blind shots. Greens are in great shape. Many fairways are adjacent to each other so you have to be careful of balls flying around. It gets a lot of play and many of the golfers are new and unaware of rules and etiquette of golf. Overall fun course. Pro shop could use more help in busy mornings when it can take forever to register.
Pleasantly Surprised
Me and my family were passing through to Cherokee and stumbled across this gem. Everyone was very friendly including the Marshall who stopped in to check on us a few times with helpful advice. Greens were in great condition. Had some quirky holes and blind shots that, especially for first time playing the course, made it challenging. Would definitely come back and play again.
By the water
Beautiful this is my home course I play here every time I can great place for the price! Best shape I may have ever seen it in plenty of golfers and still moved along very well!
Decent course with rude culture
Played here for the second time. Multiple issues with “regular” golfers walking onto our greens and interrupting putts. Had a regular demand to inspect my golf ball during an eagle putt. Would not leave or stop harassing us despite being told it didn’t match her lost ball.
Several holes were in disrepair with obvious careless damage to greens from what appeared to be leaked chemical weed killers.
Not at all impressed by the course or the people who apparently frequent it.
This is a short Par68 golf course and having 2 queer layout holes
Firstly they have very friendly staff such as Greg who's managing the pro-shop and David the course marshal. They very much make you feel at home with them.
Great job guys!
2ndly, we got to experience the ugliest & queer hole# 14 golf layout. By the way we played the wrong green on hole #10 since the fairways layout are stacked closely together and we have several encounters with Sunday players that drove their carts into your fairways to look for their balls.
Course Marshall
The course Marshall at this course is an absolute fun sucker, didn’t get a score card or anything because I was 10 minutes late, last time I was here told no groups of more than 4 there was a 9 playing in front of me. A joke of a staff beautiful course
of course it was fathers day weekend so busy. but not to bad had to wait on a cart for a few minutes. the only thing i didn't about was 9 and 18 are way to close to the parking lot had me nervous when one came alittle to close
Good Front, slow play
The front 9 was good. People (staff) were super. The back 9 was poorly designed and the pace of play was slow. There was a fivesome that was setting the pace a few groups in front of us. I thought a marshall would have helped. Some crazy holes on the back including a hole that the fairway is actually a clearing for power poles that are in play…Nuts. If I go back I’ll just play the front 9, it was good.
