very good golf condition!!
Maybe because it rained, there were only two person of us on the golf course, so we played golf like emperors. The fairways and greens were nice, but some holes were a little wet because it had just rained.. Still, it was very cost-effective.
Temporary Greens
Encountered 2 temporary greens on back nine, both on par 3’s. The second is blind so didn’t even know there was a temporary green.
Okay Course w/ Ridiculous Greens
The course layout is fair. The greens are ridiculous; every green is tilted from back to front. Also, the rough seems to be a Bermuda grass that swallow balls up, so be prepared to bring lots of balls with you to play this course, unless you always hit the fairway.
Always enjoyable
Play Wendell golf course a couple times a month. Always in good condition with a very pleasant staff. Never disappointed.
Pleasant find!
Pleasantly surprised by WCC. Course was in great shape, the staff was courteous, and really enjoyed my round.
Fun time
Loved our round, no starter so people just started round whenever they wanted and front 9 play was slow but back 9 better.
Good bang for the buck
It’s a good layout with lots of variety. The greens are tricky with some elevation and undulation, so chipping and all of one’s short game will be tested. The greens, however, were in good shape.
Home away from home
I love WCC. The staff is amazing and the food at the DIVOT has me coming there in the middle of my day for lunch..
Great Fun!
This is a great course. It was fun, fair, challenging, and a great value. The course is in great shape. Putting practice was nice. People were very friendly. Grill is a great value.
Good ole country track
This is a good ole country track with a few improvements like tree removal for greens to breathe. It wasn’t too wet even after a lot of rain. Fun course to play without all the frills.
