A gd WEDGEWOOD help ur score
I play this course as much as my schedule allows. It is by far the best place I enjoy playing. It fits my eye and the BEST bang for your buck.
It has several challenging holes (#3, 4, 6, 9 and 17) that requires proper ball placement from the tee box. I would recommend this outing to anyone and the pace of play is always good.
Unbeatable deal
Course very very well maintained year round, greens were starting to show a bit of transition from winter to summer but still roll very true. Greens would be on the medium-to-slightly-slow side speed wise and a bit firm however your reads are going to be spot on. Putting green is dead-on for what you’ll find on the course. At 25-27 bucks to ride and 15 to walk, you won’t find a better option anywhere in the state. Great staff, good range, and very well maintained. Cant beat the deal. Front nine has two short dogleg par 4s that calls for a 8 and 6 from the tee, but the back is wide open and very fun. Gotta fault them for the slope of 14’s green, that hole is in desperate need of leveling as nothing holds, tapping the ball puts it off the green dang near everywhere
Great Value
For the price, this course is hard to beat. It was in good shape and the pace of play was good.
Greens in meh shape. No bare spots but not great either.
Worth the Ride
Our first time playing this course. Course was well manicured, fairways were in great shape, greens were in excellent shape. Only issue we had was the areas where previous holes were placed were covered with a plastic cover rather than replaced with plugs from the green, made it difficult to putt over. Other than that the course was a lot of fun. I would recommend it.
Great course to play
Always in great shape staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Love to play this course and I drive 40 miles to come here instead of playing a course 5 minutes from my home.
Best kept secret is now out!!!!!
Enjoyable round of golf......this place once was the best kept secret now the word has gotten out it can get crowded. From me the loyal golfer not so good but the course benifits. I would reccomend this well kept city maintained course to anyone and rate it comparable to if not better than other course in the are
Great course
Got to play here if you have not ever been. It's a municipal course that's always in great shape and staff is always friendly and accommodating.
Friendly but challenging layout with trickery greens
This course without a doubt is one of the most rewarding, fun, golf friendly but challenging courses around. It offers and challenge multiple facets of your golf games. When you think you’re playing well if NOT careful your score will take a dramatic turn on holes 16 and 17. If the uneven trickery pin placement on 16 don’t get you, a combination of sloppy hillside vs the green on 17 will.
But all in all what a great place to enjoy yourself regardless of who you get paired with b/c everyone is friendly just out to have and enjoyable experience at Wedgewood.
Wedgewood Golf Course
This is one of the best public municipal courses that I have played. It is a real good layout, and is kept in great shape!
