Wedgewood Golf Club

Enjoyed playing the course. The layout makes you think about approach shots before you get in the tee box. Played several times and have always been surprised at how clean and manicured they keep the course. Everyone working there is very hospitable. One of the main reasons I keep going back. Excellent experience.

It was a beautiful rare fall day in NC. Course has a different but cool lay out. Challenging for the first time player of the course, like myself. Hopefully knowing the course lay out will help in scoring better next time I play here. Yes I will play here again.

The course was in excellent condition. The front 9 was wet and cart path only but the back nine was ok. Started play early afternoon and no one was in front of us....perhaps cart path only kept some golfers away...

It’s a very good public course for the money but the pace of play is very slow. They book to many tee times to close together on the weekend I think.

My son and I generally enjoy playing this course, but last few times it has been so slow. Seems like folks don't know how to let faster players go thru. My suggestion to the staff would to be say to players on sign to not hold the whole freakin' course up. Today was just the worst, from what I could see, we had a foursome, a single, 2 twosomes ahead of us. The single got by, the 2 twosomes ahead of us joined into 4, then held the whole world up, the other foursome was more than a hole ahead ans we were waiting on every shot. My son took his daughter to restroom, came back and we still waited over ten minutes afer that. Makes golf not enjoyable. Today was terrible. I will pass on Wedgewood for a while.

If you are playing this course do it in the early morning. The layout of the course allows it to get backed up quickly. The rental clubs that I used were very nice for rental clubs. Overall this course is NOT a challenging course. It is a course that is great to play with friends not a course the challenge yourself. I would recommend a friend to come here absolutely.

I had another great round at Wedgewood Country Club. The course is in good shape. I Played on a Saturday afternoon and finished in 3 hours which wasn't a bad pace at all. I got a great hot deal plus a 15% discount which made this a steal. The staff was friendly and facilities adequate. I am looking forward to the fourth round.

First time playing today. Course was in good shape and staff was very friendly. Well worth the price. I will return and recommend to friends.

Course has taken a beating from water. Greens in worse condition I have ever seen, yet no indication of problems form website. I drove 30 miles to play course.

The greens on this course where aerated,sandy and several should have been closed down. We payed $24 online, Golfers showing up to course were paying $14 to $18. The website never indicated aeration. Would have never booked. Worst Fathers Day round ever.
