Wedgewood- first bad experience
Showed up at Wedgewood on Saturday morning to play a round booked on Golf Now for $20.00. I went to check in and was told it was $27.00 for Saturday and Sunday. I tried to explain that I had booked online for 20.00 on Golf Now but the person at counter wasn't hearing it. He just kept repeating it's $27 for Saturday and Sunday. I could tell this was going nowhere and had driven over 50 miles to play. First time I've ever had a problem with rates booked on line being different at the course. Very dissatisfied and disappointed that this course doesn't really care about what you booked for.
False Advertisement
No issues with the course but I booked this tee time for $20 and when I arrived to pay they made me pay $27 stating that was the weekend rate. $7 won't break me, but it wouldn't have broke the golf course either and since I didn't make the mistake it would seem the customer oriented and ethical thing to do would be to accept the advertised rate. In other words, own your mistake...

By mistake booked Weadgewood in NC ( I am leaving in IL by same name golf course in Joliet).
Came in the morning with kids and realized that we do not have tee time. Opppss!
Great course
It was in GREAT condition even after all the rain we had on Monday. First time there, it was beautiful and challenging. Would definitely recommend and I am definitely going back.
Great little country course!
Located right off of 264 in Wilson this course is in great condition! Beware the practice greens are MUCH faster than the hole greens and many of the greens are not in the best condition however there are no dead spots; they simply aren’t as green as what you would expect from a more expensive course. For the money this is one of the best courses I have played in quite some time. The fairways and rough are in fantastic condition and the course looks very up to date. The bunkers will have standing water if it has rained much a day or two before however this is one of the only drawbacks.
Great Public Course For Money
Excellent public course in good condition. Easy to walk and pace of play is good for public course. 4 hours or less. Bermuda greens are medium speed but true. Great way to save money .Worth a drive and visit.
