Greens are in great shape, fairways are in good shape even with the limited rainfall this year.

Loved the narrow fairways and approaches on the back nine that make you plan ahead.

1/3 of greens or not in very good shape,no water to drink on course,the person at office wasn't friendly at all, he was complaining about how Gold Now doesn't give any money to the course for me playing,I really didn't need his attitude right before I started what I thought would be a good round of Golf probably won't play this course again.

If this course is supposed to be better after being under new management then I am not quite sure what it was like before... I am in town for the summer for an internship and had a terrible experience. After showing up to the pro shop with a prepaid Golf Now tee time, I was informed that a golf outing was going out and that I might not be able to get out. I worked in a pro shop for the last two summers so I understood that things like this happen sometimes. However, I could not believe how the gentleman who was working the pro shop was treating me. After an aggressive conversation, he let me go off the back 9 (the small outing was going off the front so I am not sure why this took so long to decide). The course plays fairly easy. I am around a 16 handicap and shot a 41 on the front. I only got through a few holes on the back before I caught up to the outing and just decided to turn around and leave (which I was planning on doing when he let me go off the back so no worries there). The course, however, was not in nearly the shape that other courses in the area are. Understanding this is a very cheap course, it is not worth the money even if you think you are getting a good deal. Mind you, I am a college kid who is tight on money, suggesting you spend the extra money at a different course than wasting your time at this golf course. I have not reviewed a course before but strongly felt the urge to after my experience at Yadkin CC on 06/20/15.

Really did like the layout but the condition of the course was probably the worst I've played on in several years. Greens were very good which was the only saving feature on the course. if this course had less bare spots and more grass it would be a beautiful course.

Greens were plugged and were slow but putted ok. No grass on tees or fairways yet. A lot of blind shots. I will wait til June for grass to grow in before playing here again.

There is a lot of improvement work being done but the previous owners let this track run way down before the new folks got hold of it. Maybe 6 fairways with any decent grass to play from, even rolling the ball presented a challenge to find grass. I really like this layout and hope they can stick out the spring and get some grass growing this summer.

Most people that come from out of town do not know alot about the course. The previous staff really let the course go. Now under new management they are making huge improvements. Fixing most all the tee boxes. And 18 is now a par 3 due to maintinace on the fairway. It lookes better than any other fairway now! The greens probably roll better than any around. Completly redid the upstairs and now have a bar and grill that is very good! So if you played this course a year ago and have not been back i would highly recomend going back.

Great for $10, greens pretty good, too many leaves on ground. Not sure if they even have a blower. Not a great amount if effort on maintenance this time of year.

You will not find a friendlier place to play than Yadkin CC. From the golf shop to the ranger to groups on the course I could not have been treated any better. The course itself was fun and challenging. I will come back.

Easy drive to the course. Was surprised at the run down condition of the club house and course. Staff was friendly and informative. Was not crowded and no wait time. The group I played with was looking for balls on almost every hole, except Par 3's. Even good drives were hard to find due to the steep slope in the fairways and balls rolling into the woods or little streams running across the fairways. Cart paths were in disrepair and hard on the back. The best thing I can say about the course was that the greens were in decent shape. Not likely I will ever play this course again. There are nicer courses in the area for not much more money.

The course was a lot better than I expected for the money. A friend told me he had played there several years ago and it was a dog track. The greens were in great shape and the overall course was in good condition.

#10 moved tee box, #18 shorted to par 3, I feel work is being done keep the a desirable course to play.

Recent change in management has made a big improvement in greens condition, hazard areas. We were very impressed with how much better this course looks than it did a year ago.

Played here last year and wasn't real pleased. Invited back by a friend and reluctantly went. Glad I did, Wow, what an improvement and they are still improving. Pro shop is now downstairs, they have lessons, golf wear, friendly staff, beautiful greens, a Bunny Hop on Thursday evenings and the restaurant upstairs has been really cleaned up and is open for lunch. The food was really good! I'll be back!!

For the price we paid on golf now I have no complaints. I can tell that at one point this was probably a hidden gem in the area. We were told that they wherein the process of making improvements and I could definitely see the potential the course has. With that being said, it is a pretty nice course, nice views, decent condition, and challenging par 3's. Once they finish the work they are doing on two holes there is no reason why I wouldn't play it again. If your idea of golf is everything being immaculate and perfect, this wouldn't be a course for you. If you are just an avid golfer that likes to try a different course with tons of potential I highly recommend.

Never heard of this course until it popped up on Golf Now. Got an unbelievable deal for Monday morning, crossed my fingers, and hoped for the best. Was very happy with what I found. The greens were outstanding, immaculate. The bunkers were very good. And for the most part the fairways were good -- though they are clearly battling drought, which is most evident in the 18th fairway, on many of the tee boxes, and on some of the mounded areas. The grounds crew was out working hard, though. And we never had a problem finding a grassy area to hit from in the fairway.

Like many courses in this area, Yadkin CC is routed up and down and around the rolling terrain and through trees. Water comes into play on several holes.

It was a good challenge from the blue tees. The par 3s were long, the par 5s reachable for big hitters, and the par 4s required thoughtful drives and approaches.

The grill was closed on Monday so can't comment on that.

I will be going back for sure. Great value and good fun.

We booked through golf now for next to nothing and had a great experience at yadkin. The staff is awesome, Tiffany upstairs is a great person, very friendly and cooks up a mean chicken Philly! Beers were $2, can't beat em. Their outdoor deck overlooks some great scenery and everything is updated or in the process. The golf course was also decent, not $100 per round quality but you more than get what you pay for. Would highly recommend to others and would definitely go back!!

This course has excellent greens the fairways are improving everyday, the only hole I played that still needed some work was the 18th fairway it still needs some grass as do some on the tee boxes

Played on a hot deal tee time for $12.00. Great value for that price. The fairways were in somewhat rough shape due, I assume, to our harsh winter, but the greens were in excellent condition (although maybe a little on the slow side). This is a course you need to play a couple of times to get the hang of it. I'll definitely go again.
