Greens are good. Pace of play is excellent. We were the only car in the parking lot on a nice Saturday and now I know why. Barren spots all over the place in addition to spots so high you couldn’t find a ball. Guy in the pro shop had never heard of customer service. Will never play again.

Got this round using hot deal on golf now which they don't care for by the way..paid total of $3.49 using promo code and still feel it was overpriced.I put pace of play as excellent due to the fact no one was playing,,,I know the course is for sale and would make great farm land due to how little work it would need

The golf course was in fair shape Lotta holes were blind tee shots and creeks were not marked on the map when we got to hole number 17 there was no 17 it was 8 took us 15 minutes to find which hole was 17. Golf carts were gas and very slow could walk and keep up. Cart paths were terrible. Need kidney belt for the rough ride

Good variety of holes. Trees often come into play if you are not down the middle player, some water but only on a few holes. Terrain is hilly, bare spots in some of fair ways.

Forward tees are a big advantage over blue and white tees giving women and seniors a comfortable distance to the green.

I had never heard of this course until I saw it on GolfNow in the hot deals. I took the chance and decided to go play with one of my buddies, terrible decision. The people working in the shop were very nice and had great intent. There were drinks and a few snacks available which made the experience just a little better. After this there was not one positive thing about the place. The greens were about the only area on the course that even looked maintained. The fairways were some of the most patchy fairways I have ever seen, dirt everywhere. The "roughs" were also patchy with dirt everywhere. What rough there was was mowed so patchy some looked as if it was just mowed some atrociously long making it very difficult to find a ball that didn't find the fairway. The tee boxes were so long that when I teed up my ball it was maybe 1 inch above the top of the grass. The course is clearly struggling for money there is no merchandise or anything in the pro shop besides a couple snacks and some scuffed up used golf balls they were selling for .50 cents a piece. I have worked golf course maintenance for 3 years and I know a lot about course upkeep and this course could use a lot of work. I paid $8 to play and still felt like it was too much. The cart paths were terrible with pot holes making them so bumpy, spent the whole day bouncing around. This course is in some of the worse condition other than the greens which are merely average. I have included a picture to give an idea of the fairways and this is one of the better fairways on the course.

The only flaw to the course was there were no venders or any place to eat. They said they would have a BBQ vender starting in may.

Honestly one of the worst courses I've ever played. Tee boxes were absolutely terrible. Almost if not all of them were dead. If you hit Your tee shot in the fairway you will be rewarded with a shot off of dirt. There is several courses in the area for cheaper and in much better condition. I would recommend going to one of those instead. Course layout wasn't bad, could be a really fun course if they would put some work into it. All in all left the course very disappointed.

Great hilly course that's out in the countryside of Yadkinville. The layout of this course is fantastic and has you using every club in your bag. Very friendly staff that makes you feel at home. There are holes that require you to use irons off the tee, and longer ones where you'll definitely be using your driver. I've played this course twice - Once in the summer, and once in the winter, and have not been disappointed. They keep this course very nicely groomed, and the greens have always been in great shape, and rolling nicely. The greens are very challenging and have unique undulation on each one. Bring your iron game to this course, as you will be punished for missing these greens on the wrong side.

The only downfall to this course is there's no driving range, and the car paths need some tending to, but that's not going to change my opinion about how fun this course is to play.

They have put some work in and it's showing. Greens are in nice shape. Still a little rough around some edges but a fair course that lets you hit some different shots.

Great deal! Greens in great condition; good fairways for the most part. Beautiful layout. Sand traps compacted, golf path a little rough in places. This is a beautiful old course and fun to play.

fairways and tee boxes not mowed. 6 inch rough and it was thick. If you hit your ball in the rough, you lost it. The rough is supposed to be rough, but don't have to be so bad to lose ball. Everyone can't hit it in the fairway everytime

Decided to try a hot deal even after reading bad reviews....Greens were very nice and quick! Even though there were a few dried up spots in the fairways the ball rolled thru and i played the ball down all day except for a couple washed out places around the paths. Staff has obviously worked hard to restore course, talked with 1 groundsworker and the Superintendent and all were very nice. Bunkers were washed out from a big rain but that is to be expected with summer weather. Pretty good layout. Couple holes on the back are odd lay ups would have helped to know the distance to landing area. Overall really good experience, will go back

The gentleman running the shop had no personality and the course was in poor shape. Houses are too close to the greens. All and all, they needs a superintendent.

If I had the time I would be on this course every day golf carts are in excellent shape always there waiting on us when we get there all in all I'd recommend this course to everyone beginners and seasoned golfers

Greens always in good shape, tight fairways. Course in great shape this time of year. Pace of play is always good. Leave driver in bag on several holes.
