Brigantine Golf Links
About
The public, 18-hole golf course at Brigantine Golf Links is not only beautiful scenery and a great game it is also a National Audubon Sanctuary. Its layout has roots in Scottish golfing tradition. The golf course utilizes the natural environment featuring a softly rolling terrain and marshes as well as gorgeous bay views.
Like traditional Scottish Links courses, Brigantine is marked by nearly tree-less greens and the type of shot to take often depends on the wind. There are powerful sea breezes that affect the shots and bunkers that make for an interesting game. The smooth, rolling greens encourage a bump-and-run strategy. The scenic course's location close to the Atlantic City boardwalk and the challenging, but fun game it offers make it popular among tourists and locals of all skill levels.

If you can play it at a discount rate it's just par ok
If you can get a discounted tee time at 40 dollars or cheaper it's ok. There are many courses within a 25 mile area that are better and less expensive. Staff was stuffy to say the least. Got the feeling that they were doing me a favor letting me play there. Keep in mind we pay your mortgage. With that said course was in good condition the Rangers were rushing us and wanted us to let people play thur 3 times. With the exception of the other three golfers the course was pretty empty maybe 14 people total. The green flys will kill you so bring bug spray. As stated for $40.00 dollars or less worth a round.
The tee time management was average at best.
The pro shop staff gave us a quick hello and said
" I know you have tee time in half hour but you can go now, if want"... Thats all he said... He didn't say welcome or tell us about facilty or course or where practice area might be located."
We practice some putting and then when we went to start there was a single player who jump on ahead of us and then another single player who drove his cart right up behind us as we were on the tee box of first whole. Very unorganized. Also, the weather was sunny and warm, but there were nasty Horse-flys all over throughout the round. We would not return to this course again, even if it was free.
Course in good condition
Found course in good condition. Greens fairways bunkers well maintained. Tees somewhat worn but not terrible. pace of play good. Enjoyable round of golf.
Thank you for your feedback. We like hearing the good and bad so we can continue to improve. We hope to see you again soon!
Expected better course for the$$
Played with my husband and I n a trip to Atlantic city. Course looked nice from the pictures, but we're a disappointment in person. While it wasn't a terrible course, it wasn't worth what we paid.
Cost
Course was enjoyable to play. Greens were in good shape, sand trap left some to be desired. Golf Now pricing was only very slightly below the normal cost. Last year the Golf Now value was significantly better.
Good course, but overpriced.
I just played here for about the 4th straight weekend. Pace of play has never been an issue. In my days of playing, I've learned that if you want to assure yourself of a good pace of play, the best thing to do is play early. If you play here before 7:30, you will enjoy a nice quiet round. The greens here are very well maintained. They play true. The course itself is in decent shape - just nothing that stands out to charge $85. They can get away with it because its a shore course. But in reality, its a $50-$60 course at best. Not sure how they can do it, but they need to get some water pumped into the 11th hole, as it is a cool hole, but smells absolutely terrible. Course is still a fun course to play, but could use a little bit of enhancing to take it over the top.
unprofessional
tee time was for single only ,three people had already signed up, i completed the 4 some. arrived 45 minutes prior to tee time, checked in and had to wait good 10 minutes while assistant was talking on the phone. then i was told it was too early to check in come back later. when i returned he told me to go out as a single, there were two somes and threesomes ahead of me, no one waived me through and had to wait constantly and even refused to allow me to join up. a miserable day on the links, when i finished , i went to see the head pro to say how upset i was and how unprofessional the situation was handled. what happened to my 4 some ? he said that two threeomes wanted to play alone behind each other.he blamed golf now for overbooking the same tee time .why wasnt i joined up with the other 2s and 3s when they knew that ahead of time?very little regard for golf etiquette and how they treat their patrons. NEVER AGAIN!

Improved from past experiences
Played 8:06 tee time at discounted price. Course conditions were excellent. Only complaint was sand traps could be groomed better and many of the rakes were broken. Overall very good experience.
Great Links Course
Felt just like playing a British Open course, the wind was so demanding even on putts!
Fun links style course
This course is a lot of fun. The wind is different every time you play so club selection varies from day to day.
Great Layout, but recovering from rough winter.
The course layout was great and the holes with the water were challenging. I was skeptical when i showed up since I had heard good things of the course but the look of it was rough. I think for the condition the course was in the value was a bit high, but expected that close to AC. I will say the grass although looking rough was very strong and carpet like. You can tell the look was just due to the rough winter and not bad management.
Nice course.
Good condition for this time of the year. Great layout. Will play again.
great little golf course
short course but windy and challenging I like it I would play it again
Old Course but Fair
This is an old course. The fairways and greens were in pretty decent shape. The course has been run down over time. Looks like they have limited staff and maintenance crew. No starter- a "go whenever" kind of place.
Carts have GPS which was good. Lots of traps and water.
Good test
It was a good test of your game. We played white tees. The course was in fine shape but the greens were pretty slow and it was very windy Therefore tough to adjust to.
Everything was very smooth for my first Golfnow experience. It was a good day.
The Links
Great course and time. Some residences bait too close for my liking but somehow made it through w out any mishaps. Can't wait to play it again
Will play here again soon!
Very unique course as it actually winds through the town. The course was in good shape with the exception of a few sections of the fairways and some of the tee boxes. Greens good shape and rolled true. Plenty of birdie opportunities if you can hit correct distance to pins and the greens were receptive. Need to put your ball on the pin level. Hole 17 definitely #1 handicap.
One comment to golfers: Please pick up your feet on the greens. The foursome in front of us must have all dragged their feet completely around the holes as there were scuff marks and footprints 360 degrees within 2 feet of the hole on almost every green.
Course needs some work
The fairways were not in great shape. I'm glad I didn't have to pay full price to play. The discounted rate from Golfnow made this an ok day.
Sorry to hear your experience didn't meet your expectations. We appreciate the feedback on how we can improve. Hope to see you again this summer!
