About
The Blue Heron Pines Golf Club consists of two award-winning courses called the East and the West. Located 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City, these public golf courses provide a challenging game and have been touted by many New Jersey publications as the best 18-hole course on the Jersey Shore.
Each golf course had a different designer so they do have some differences. The West Course is relatively flat with narrow fairways and fast greens. Water hazards also come into play on seven holes. The East Course on the other hand features wide fairways and difficult bunkers. The East Course also follows a links-style layout and is meant to be played fast and firm. For those who want to play the courses but aren't at the top of their game yet, the club offers golf instruction.

Excellent Course
Blue Heron Pines is an excellent course and was in superior condition. We started on time and the weather was ok but then it rained for the last 2 hours and we still finished in the rain. The course had excellent drainage and other than the fact that my club grips were slippery we still had a great time. This course is a must play! Kudos go out to Ron Jaworski for providing the public with this beautiful golf course.
Blue Heron Pines
Course is in excellent shape. Greens a bit bumpy due to recovering from aeration. If you miss a green you'll pay the price as the rough around green is "US Open" thick, and will cost you a shot or two. Would love to come back.
Fun holes
Have played here before. Saw good deal on golf now and went for it. Overall condition was good . Greens were ok. A little to bumpy. I like the course layout. Some unique holes. Pace of play was slow though not much they could do course was full.

Nice course Greens aerated and not cut ,I was disappointed.Have played course before and greens were excellent at that time.Fairways nice ,traps need more sand base hard ,
Staf blamed green condition on heavy rain.

Great rate for great course but couldn't finish before dark due to slow weekend play
Will Definitely Come Back Again
The course probably would have gotten 5 stars across the board where it not for the fact we were there right after the greens were punched. I will update this review after we go back.
The course set up is great and even the shorter par 4s are very challenging. Even with the greens being punched, they were in pretty good shape. Very much looking forward to coming back in a few weeks when I can see the greens in much better shape.

everything was beautiful, 12hdcp or less, should play blues or blacks... greens could be a little faster, but they were in great shape....
Well maintained and Classy staff
The course is very well maintained, challenging, the facilities are excellent, carts are clean, and have GPS for the course to show you yardage. The staff are polite and helpful. All in all a really classy course!
Great round!
Course in beautiful condition. We teed off about 15-20 minutes after our starting time --not sure why as we arrived at the course early. And I was concerned about pace of play at the outset of the round. However after a couple of holes, we moved along quite nicely. This is a fine layout that I always enjoy, more so when I get a deal on Golfnow!
Good Condiction
One of the many good courses in the Atlantic City area. It's pricey in the summer due to the tourist trade in the area.
Course was in good condition. Although we were warned by the starter that the greens were "very fast" we didn't find them so. Many of the greens in this area are "flat" but this course offers greens with many elevation changes. Enjoyed the round and plan on playing again in the near future.
Greens were great.
Visiting from Texas and was looking for a public course. Price was right and holes were very interesting. Plenty of sand and greens rolled true. Planning to play this course again.

Staff was very friendly. Course was in terrific condition.
A very nice course.
I will say my wife and I totally enjoyed the course. It was challenging from the blue tees. My average drive isbetween 230-250. I did not have a problem with the lenght at all. The staff was curtious and frendly.

Enjoyed my round, course in good condition, nothing to really complain about.
Course OK
Course was in OK shape, fun to play with a few holes that were challenges.
Staff seemed confused on starting times and not overly friendly.
I paid $69 but wouldn't invest anymore than that.
