Blue Heron Pines Golf Club

This is the best course that I have payed this week in the Atlantic City area via Golfnow. Fairway and greens were in good conditions. Greens were slow max 8 to 9. Maybe this how all greens are kept in the AC area. Fairway and greens bunkers were in excellent shape. Greens are well protected which was fun. Back nine was a lot of fun. You are also not penalize if you are no in the fairway from you drive. I would play it again.

Well placed sand traps make this course a challenge for all players. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

After seeing the deal on this site and calling the course twice with questions, I booked a time for the following day. Upon arriving I was informed that 9 holes were out of commission and the other 9 had just been aerated. Furthermore, the staff was incredulous when I asked why they failed to mention that the day before or to place the aeration logo on this website. Overall, a very poor experience at a subpar course that over-charged and was over-played. I will not return.

I have played this course before the newest owners and it was always in top shape. Sometimes the greens were to fast but always consistent. I played the course a couple of days ago and it was starting to look like it was being let go. I will however give them some grace due to the fact that we have had some extreme weather in this area making it very difficult for the ground crews to maintain. The greens were consistent but too furry for my taste. Overall it is a challenging and fun course to play.

No wow factor but certainly in good shape. One of the better courses in SoJersey.

This is a fun, challenging shotmakers course for golfers of all levels. I really enjoyed the day, and would definitely return!

One of the best courses I played along the Jersey Shore.

Had a 2pm tee time. Didn't tee off until 3pm. We all were told by the staff they over booked. 3 fairways were completely unplayable and the greens were bumpy. I played there a couple of months ago and the same thing happened. They overbooked. On that day they seem to allow residents or members to squeeze in among the tee times. on that day we teed off at 2:45 finished at 8pm.
Not the BHP that was a model for daily fee courses by Hanson.

Fairways chewed up a bit and some patches of crab grass, greens in pretty good shape for most part and rolled true and a bit slow. Traps in good shape... played 8/12 and 17th & 18th fairways were being aerated. Great course as must play if on vacation in the area.

Great Course, Slow pace of play due to the 3 gents I played with. Fairways and Greens were in Excellent shape, tee boxes need work. Very Enjoyable experience, Cordial Staff.

As usual staff super. I got there early as a single and sent right out. Caught uo with a couple on the fourth hole and enjoyed the rest of th rounf with them. pac good, even with a four-some in forn of us. Course in good shape; a few fairways with burned-out spots but rare. I paid $78.00 for 1:00 PM start. Maybe a bit high but out out of line with courses in the Atlantic City area. I enjoyed by round and that's all that counts. 88 ain't bad.

COURSE WAS IN GREAT CONDITION, CHALLENGING AND FUN. WAS IN AC FOR MY BDAY WEEKEND, BOOKED AN EARLY BIRD AT 6:30AM AND WAS OFF THE 18TH AT 10:46. I WAS PAIRED WITH A THREESOME AND WE ALL THOUGHT THE COURSE WAS CHALLENGING. NARROW FAIRWAYS AND BUNKERS WITH A FEW HOLES WHICH WATER COMES INTO PLAY ALL MADE FOR A GREAT WEEKEND. ENJOYED IT SO MUCH I BOOKED SAT, AUG 3 AT 7 AM WITH THE SAME ENJOYMENT. WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK AND PLAY SINCE I'LL BE DOWN FOR LABOR DAY WEEKEND.

New owner seems to let anyone play, guys in jeans t-shirts, 4 some in front of us couldn't hit the ball had to skip past them and return to hole

I played the course many years ago and didn't remember it. But the course was in great shape and we had a great time!

The course was challenging and in excellent condition except for the 17th and 18th fairways. It looks like they were in the process of growing back after reseeding.

Decent course for the money. Have played many times. Wasted $3.98 by booking on line with Golf Now. Could have gotten the same " after 3pm discount" if I had just booked it directly by calling the pro shop. Golf Now offered no advantage.

I've played this course many times a I'm never disappointed.
