About
The Blue Heron Pines Golf Club consists of two award-winning courses called the East and the West. Located 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City, these public golf courses provide a challenging game and have been touted by many New Jersey publications as the best 18-hole course on the Jersey Shore.
Each golf course had a different designer so they do have some differences. The West Course is relatively flat with narrow fairways and fast greens. Water hazards also come into play on seven holes. The East Course on the other hand features wide fairways and difficult bunkers. The East Course also follows a links-style layout and is meant to be played fast and firm. For those who want to play the courses but aren't at the top of their game yet, the club offers golf instruction.

This course was amazing
As a newer golfer this course was amazing.. It tests all your playing ability and allows you to find your weakness so that u can have an idea of what to practice. I would recomend you play other courses if you arent the best yet because this course does not play games.. It was beautiful and i cant wait to go back again!!
Nice Sunday afternoon
Very good shape for April after a good bit of rain the week/few days before. Impressed with how firm the greens were for this time of year. Can't wait to play later in the summer when things really green up. Only gripe was we only saw the snack cart once for the entire round.

Great value wit,h GolfNow hot deal price. The course was in good shape and the greens were in very good shape. Since it was s cold and windy the course was empty.
In GREAT Shape for this late in the season
other than a couple of slow groups that backed up the course it was a good day. Really should have a marshal on course we had 4 groups on a hole on the back, all caused by 2 SLOW Groups

good conditions /greens tough but fair/great value.
really nice course that i hadn't played in some time. it was much better than i remembered. pace of play was mild problem. 2 women behind us insisted on playing thru and the held us up. despite this it was a very enjoyable round and i'll look forward to returning.
Nice layout, good conditions, but bad experience
Had a beautiful day enjoying the courses nice layout and good conditions until the golf cart I was assigned ran out of juice. Had to be pushed by another cart. Heard of other players having this issue. It lead to a dreaded 5 hour round and a headache to follow
everything you would want in a course
Except for the rinky-dink homes near the fairways, the course is fun and challenging with pristine greens and fairways
Everything was perfect
Wow, this course was in perfect condition ,from the rolled greens to the manicured fairways . The starter was versed in every aspect of this course and wait time between holes was like clock work. I want to go back soon.
Course was in good shape, but not very challenging
This course was rated high in golf.com, but it didn't live up to its high ranking.
Not a repetitive design,every hole is a new challenge.
The greens were in excellent condition. The staff was very helpful, courteous, and friendly. The green fees through Golfnow was unbeatable.

One of the best courses in Atlantic County
I have played most courses in Atlantic County and would rate this among the best. The fairways and greens were exellent and the entire course is just beautiful.
Challenging Course
Course, fairways and greens, were in good shape for this time of year. Played after 1 pm and we were done in less than four hours.
Very challenging course, big time par fours.
Very nice experience, everything went smoothly as expected. Course was playing long because of rain the day before, no roll on tee shots. Greens were pristine and fast. Never played there before and after a year of inactivity due to illness was harder than I expected. Not complaining, was great to get out with friend of mine I havent seen in a year because of retirement. Had a great time, just need some practice before I hit this course again. All in all was a great experience and Golfnow made it very easy to make tee times. Keep up the good work.

Fun course. In great condition. Woods have been thinned out to make it much easier to spot your ball!
Nice course
I have played here twice and both times, the starters have been great. The course was very well maintained especially for this time of year. Short course where scores are out there but you have to keep it in play.

If you have a chance to play Blue Heron, make sure you take advantage of the opportunity. Excellent golf course !
Great day of golf
Course was in good shape and we had a great day to play. I would like to see some work on the bunkers but other than that the course was great.
Well maintained fairways and greens with many sand bunkers
Course was very well maintained and the staff was friendly and attentive. Layout was somewhat challenging but fair with tree lined fairways, water hazards and numerous sand traps. Great value for the money and will definitely play here again.
