About
The Blue Heron Pines Golf Club consists of two award-winning courses called the East and the West. Located 15 minutes outside of Atlantic City, these public golf courses provide a challenging game and have been touted by many New Jersey publications as the best 18-hole course on the Jersey Shore.
Each golf course had a different designer so they do have some differences. The West Course is relatively flat with narrow fairways and fast greens. Water hazards also come into play on seven holes. The East Course on the other hand features wide fairways and difficult bunkers. The East Course also follows a links-style layout and is meant to be played fast and firm. For those who want to play the courses but aren't at the top of their game yet, the club offers golf instruction.

We had a great time. Reasonable pricing on drinks and food
They Pared us up with a bunch of nice guys. There could have been more Rangers on the course To speed play. Starter was friendly. Bartender was too. The kid workn the golf carts need to put a smile on his face and have a sense of urgency
Overall great course layout
The course is always in consistently good shape. Green's roll true and smooth. The course makes you use almost every club in you bag. Great challenge from the Blues
Well maintained course
Enjoyed all aspects.found it challenging but within my skill level.
Played with a couple of decent players,who enjoyed it as well.
Will go back,first time there,certainly not last.
Reasonable for $50
Blue Heron Pines used to be awesome back in the day. Unfortunately like so many courses struggling in this economy, conditions are nowhere near what they were. Reasonably fun resort style layout. Back 9 is better than the front. Pretty forgiving of the tee. Interesting greens if they are at 10+ speed but don't expect them to be running that good normally. Play can be on the slow to very slow side. Would not be my first choice but in AC area but ok once in a while.
I would like to see this course when its not raining
Major storms of and on all day. the staff seemed great for the nightmare they encountered on this day. We had to stop and come in twice and just hold off twice more. And not once did any staff member flinch. Great job!
