This Robert Trent Jones Sr. design is one of the area’s most venerable venues. The fluid beauty of MetroWest provides for a challenging but playable experience. Wide rolling fairways give all levels of players the opportunity to find the short grass, and the four sets of tees working from 7,051 yards down to the 5,325-yard forward tees make hitting greens in regulation a reasonable endeavor. No push over, though, bunkers seem to anchor every corner on every dogleg and elevation changes of up to 100 feet in some circumstances tug back in the course’s favor.

Everything was good except I paid for 2 with my credit card and at the check in I only had to pay for one. My golfing partner paid his green fee. Although I paid for 2
Management was rude and cheap
Di have played here so many times yet I booked and was made to ride with people I don't know, I have to answer my work phone while I play and didn't plan on compromising another player. Like the course was so empty yet they didn't have carts out and no one greeting me when I loaded up a cart. Then made me carry all my stuff down and around to where my other rider was. So rude and unprofessional service not like the regular staff on.

Always Fun!
Greens were fast, fairways were in good shape and the rough was not too penalizing.
A few wet spots in the low areas due to all of the rain, but overall, the course is in great condition.

Course was in good condition 12 through 16 was cart path because of recent rains and at 9am the humidity was high

Poorly marked
The course had no yardage marker on the tees or anywhere on the course and the GPS wasn’t working. When I asked at the end of the round why there were no yardage markers I was told “they get that question a lot”, but no real answer.

Good course but condition bad
Really like how this course has improved over the last couple of years. I played after heavy rain 2 days prior and there were quite a few holes that were cart path only but that didn’t stop A LOT of players ignoring that and destroying the very wet fairways. 3-4 holes were almost unplayable. Otherwise great layout, great staff but it will take some weeks to get the course back to good shape.

Let it Dry
Due to the recent rains, the front 9 was closed and we had to play the back 9 twice to get in our round. There were some wet spots but overall the back 9 was in good shape.

Vastly improved
What an amazing turnaround. Course was very good! Greens were nice and rolled out well. Fairways and tees were full of grass. Overall MetroWest is an outstanding shape and great value!

Working hard to bring it back!
Course has always been great layout. Greens were in very good shape. Course is very wet after the last month of rain. 9 holes have been impacted and are cart path only.

Poorly marked
There were no yardage markers on the tees or anywhere on the course. To make it worse, the GPS didn’t work… when I asked the people working the course why it was so poorly marked they said “ya, we get that question all the time”!?

Course was a mess
We started on the back nine which was too bad but when we swung around to the front it was pure mud in the fairways and it backed up terribly! We only played 12 holes and quit on 13!

Good Effort
I played Metro West often in the 90's. It was a wonderful facility back then. It fell on some hard times. But, recently there has been a genuine to improve course conditions. The greens are smooth with good speed. Fairways are good. There is still work to do but it is an enjoyable course to play now, at a fair price.

Keeps getting better!
I have played out here several times over the past few months and left reviews each time. It is great to see that the course keeps getting better.
I have put this back on the rotation.
Only issue was the beverage cart did not come around as much as we would have liked.
