Charged twice for cart I already paid for.
This is a decent course, not easy, but fair. Course conditions were decent given that greens were recently punched., Lots of unpaired divot marks on the green which I really don’t get since I find it a pleasure to fix as a reward for hitting the green.
Most annoyingly, I booked my round for 2 on a GolfNow deal which included the cart, but was told it wasn’t included upon check in. My reservation didn’t show it, but I double checked with my playing partner and he confirmed what I read to him when I was making the booking. Going forward I plan to screenshot my booking where it says “cart”.
Great course! Lots of undulations but FUN!
I played this course few years back but didn't like since the undulations were too much for my skill but playing again after improving my skill made this course FUN to play.
Great condition overall.
Will definitely come back to play.
It's greens are a challenge and fairly large and protected by large mounds and bunkers ,fairways have some elevation.
Morning rounds are easily played at around 4hrs mmy drawback was the greens were aerated without my knowledge but i enjoyed the day.
Slow
The staff needs to work on keeping players moving along. We were backed up with three groups because there was one group of four that didn’t understand basic golf etiquette.
had a perfect round!
had a biride, birdie, par, birdie on hole 7,8,9.10. amazing experience.
A good value for money
A well maintained public course with good service.
Great greens that’s about it
Fun course, glad I tried it, pace of play was really slow on a Saturday, over 5hours, back 9 very crowded, constant carts and balls coming into fairway from other holes, hit by 1 ball and almost by several more.
Great course!
This was the first time I played this course. I was really impressed with the course conditions. The staff was amazing. Pace of play was outstanding. Overall it gets my second highest rating. I hardly ever rate this high. I'll definitely be back.
Best local pubic course, just be patient with the pace.
Santa Anita is one of the best kept public courses in the area with the foothills behind almost every shot. Pace is extremely slow, but as long as you're okay with that, it's well worth the cost.
