Brunswick Golf Club - Dogwood/Azalea Course

I can't believe I haven't played this course previously. This is a first class course. Very well maintained, greens are fast but true. Staff are very professional and friendly. Be sure to include this course in your intinery.

Played this course when it first opened in 92. It has matured into a great course. Should play if in this area.

Really enjoyed this course. It was a great value thanks to Golf Now. Course is in good condition and has plenty of hazards to challenge most golfers.

People in pro shop were very friendly. They paired my husband and myself with another couple who were very nice and fun to play with. The course was in great condition. We had had a lot of rain in the 2 days prior, but the course was dry and it was 90 degrees, which I really appreciated. Greens were challenging and fast. Would definitely play there again.

Better than average value, very busy

First time playing here but was close to a five hour round! There was a group of guys holding everyone up. I wish when you drop off your bags could put them on a cart right away instead of having to carry your bag or clubs everywhere! Very controlling over when you get the golf cart.

Lot's of rolling fairways which isn't always the case on these beach courses. The greens were tricky and pin placement not easy which made it fun. Also lots of water! Nice.

The course was very nice. Greens were fast and tricky. Staff treated us very well.

Course set up nicely. Looked to be a setup for all level player. There was a strange teeing procedure. ..all tee times in the morning arrive at the same time and then the afternoon group arrives. Crowds of players, but we did get off on the 1st tee on time. Just different then I've experienced before.

The staff working at the bag drop off were very friendly and helpful. The person in the pro shop was not quite so friendly - it seemed we were disturbing him by checking in. The snack shack staff did their job and nothing else - not the friendliness we have become accustomed to in the Carolina's.

The course was extremely wet - we have golfed at other courses with a far superior drainage system. Would not be interested in golfing this course again.

Unfortunately still very wet and cart path only,lagging behind others nearby in drainage ,which are 90degree . However ,starter very cordial and helpful . Very interesting and challenging design and the greens were in very good condition .i will be back when drier .i played one tee up from my regular since it was only my first week of play , no roll and the cold .bottom line despite wet ,I liked it

Awesome greens,soggy fairways,nice layout.played on a day calling for rain so had the course to myself.Played in 3 hrs even with cart path only.Ball plugged in fairway often so the course played long.Nice staff.Would play again and would recommend.

Even with it still being cart path only the course was in great shape. The greens are in great shape and putted very well.

Very nice layout the course was a little wet but playable. Overall a very nice track some interesting holes and excellent greens. I hope to play it again soon under dryer conditions.

I know it has rained a lot in the area over the past three months, but this course was virtually unplayable. I would appreciate being told you are going to sink into the fairway 3 I chest if you want to play instead of just being told "cart path only".
WETTEST COURSE WE PLAYED ALL WEEK.

Since we were cart path only I did not get beat up by the cart paths.

nice course,there are 27 holes,we played 18.lots of water hazards and sand traps.good signs to direct you to the next hole.lots of houses and condos to see as you play.

Course was in very good shape and very challenging. Myrtle Beach has received a tremendous amount of rain in the past month but the course was still in very good shape. Very playable and challenging.

Thirteen of us ladies planned a golf get a way at Brunswick Plantation. Spent the weekend in very well equipped condos and played 18 holes on Saturday. However, on Sunday the rain set in and we didn't get to finish. Even with the weather the way it was, we enjoyed the beautiful course and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The "19th Hole" was a great place to gather for breakfast, lunch and adult beverages. We plan to return to Brunswick for another fun weekend!!

Played this course as a warm up for our Annual Myrtle Beach Trip. Course was in pretty good condition especially after the recent rainfall in the area. Would play again.
