Brunswick Golf Club - Dogwood/Azalea Course

Since we were cart path only I did not get beat up by the cart paths.

nice course,there are 27 holes,we played 18.lots of water hazards and sand traps.good signs to direct you to the next hole.lots of houses and condos to see as you play.

Course was in very good shape and very challenging. Myrtle Beach has received a tremendous amount of rain in the past month but the course was still in very good shape. Very playable and challenging.

Thirteen of us ladies planned a golf get a way at Brunswick Plantation. Spent the weekend in very well equipped condos and played 18 holes on Saturday. However, on Sunday the rain set in and we didn't get to finish. Even with the weather the way it was, we enjoyed the beautiful course and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The "19th Hole" was a great place to gather for breakfast, lunch and adult beverages. We plan to return to Brunswick for another fun weekend!!

Played this course as a warm up for our Annual Myrtle Beach Trip. Course was in pretty good condition especially after the recent rainfall in the area. Would play again.

A nicely maintained facility...staff was friendly and the course was in great shape. No really memorable holes that pop out at you but a nice time. Would play again.

First time playing this course and I will be back and definitely recommend it to everyone. I had the best time, staff was extremely outgoing and helpful. For a course that took damage from the flooding, it was in excellent condition. Tees excellent, fairways very well maintained, greens fast and true. Scenery was awesome, overall a great experience. So, if you are looking for a great day of golf and extremely friendly staff you need to play this course. I can't wait for the next time I play here. Thanks for a great round, knowledgeable and helpful staff, descent prices on food, and a beautiful sunny day for golf.

Enough challenge to make the round fun on a beautiful course.

With a group of 8 from the gold tees the course was very playable. Greens were fast but not slick with some undulation. It was a perfect afternoon.

I played the week after the historic flooding in SC. This course was a little slow in drying out, thus we had to play cart path only, (which I understand but really hate) The course was in good condition considering they had not been able to get on the fairways to mow and the grass was a little long. This along with the soft conditions made the course play a lot longer than the yardage. The greens were excellent and quite fast. We finished in 4 hours despite being cart path. I look forward to playing here again, preferably when it is a little dryer.

I thought when I booked that I had not played this course before. I had played it last year, also with golfnow. Friendly staff, nice course in great condition. Greens are fast.

Have never played Brunswick when it was in bad shape. Course is surrounded by a very large development so I'm sure they have great membership participation to bring in the dollars to maintain the course. Course is generally wet so often it's cart path only (as when we played). Ball doesn't roll much. Fairways were in excellent shape and greens were in very good condition. Very good course for the money. Easy access right off route 17 just outside Calabash NC.

Fairways and greens are in great condition. Greens are unbelievably fast but roll very true. Great challenge from all tee boxes. Played magnolia and dogwood.

A fair test of golf. Nice layout. Would recommend playing here when visiting North Myrtle Beach.

Relatively open course with nice fairways and great pace of play. Rough does penalize but is playable; the greens roll true. Would definitely play it again.

I played Azelea and Magnolia. Azalea was in very good shape. Fairways greens and tee boxes were very nice. We were a twosome. The foursome in front of us let us play through. We breezed along. Our back nine was Magnolia. This nine has a few minor issues with crabgrass. Still not bad. Play was a little slower. But we finished 18 holes in just over 4 hours. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. I recommend this course.

Course has a great layout and was in great shape! Would definitely play again!

there is very little ettiquette on this course slow players don't let faster groups thru.
