Brunswick Plantation & Golf Resort is a 27-hole layout located in the fishing village of Calabash, North Carolina, abut 20 minutes north of Myrtle Beach.
It has three distinct nines: the Magnolia, Azalea and Dogwood. On all nines, you need to hit the ball straight off the tee, taking care of the fairway bunkers, some of which are fairly high-lipped. The course has quick, bent-grass greens, moderately large, and lush, well-tended fairways set amidst tall, Carolina pines.
The dogwood course lies along the waters of the Caw Caw Run amongst hardwood trees with wide open fairways. All are fairly flat with moderate rough.

Brunswick
We played on a Friday afternoon. Mostly seniors there and mostly members. The foursome in front of the foursome in front of us was extremely slow. Each person had their own cart so safe assume they live there. Backed up 3 foursomes on several holes on the second nine hole course we played, Azeala. People were frustrated with this foursome but they didn’t seem to care. Turned our round into a 5 1/2 hour round. No ranger to tell them to keep up a quicker pace of play.

Water balls
A nice course with water everywhere and houses. so hit em straight, lay up or have water balls. I didn't take my own advice and put six in the water, just drop and hit, they have gators.

Nice course, would play again
Had a nice round at Brunswick. Course was in good shape and the greens were smooth. Had a nice bar inside to grab a drink as well. Would play again.
