Beware THE SCHISM

Amazing mountain course nestled in a beautiful community was in fantastic condition. Entire staff was extremely friendly. Beware the back nine with "THE SCHISM" being a ridiculously difficult string of holes.

Sorry attitude from staff at the end our round

Everything was going great with our round of golf until about 430 our golf cart told us to have carts back by 545 or call the club house if we was going to be late I started call around 5:15 and nobody would answer the phone and it was going to voice mail to tell them we had 4 holes left when we got done with the 17th hole it was 5:43 we got to 5the 18th and the cart shut off so we gave it a few minutes and one cart started back an we got up there once our buddies cart started back they had to drive in reverse and the guy was rude that we turned the carts into we still had daylight so they need to update the golf cart time so we are not sure if we will back to play or not

We are disappointed to hear of your experience while playing Springdale. Our carts are set to a specific time for return based on the sunset time each day. We do monitor carts on the course and try to allow our players to complete their round whenever possible. On this specific day there was cell phone tower outages affecting large areas of the US. We were unable to override the system to allow your cart to finish the round. Please accept our apology and we hope to see you again. Favorite Mountain Course

Springdale is a hidden gem tucked in the mountains just west of Asheville. The course is wonderfully maintained; the layout is challenging as your wind your way up and around the mountains. There is a mountain stream that runs parallel to some fairways while crossing others. The staff may be friendliest around Asheville!
