About
Lockwood Folly Country Club is a superbly conditioned, semi-private, member owned "hidden gem". The course is located at the confluence of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Lockwood Folly River, providing golfers with breathtaking vistas of tidal estuary, moss covered hard- woods and the solitude of nature. Tree lined, nonparallel fairways winding through hardwoods and pine afford a sense of seclusion while challanged with championship golf.

Beautiful
Looks like a simple layout , but it is challenging and requires the use of different clubs. Plenty of warning signs to adhere to. Only saw one alligator. More of view for my spouse, ladies tee was in-front of the water.
Just a great course to play. Definitely would play again.
Enjoyable round
The course was in good shape overall but a few greens are a little thin in spots. Hopefully. that will clear up with the warmer weather. It must be a course that many like because the tee times were 3/4 players until 3:00 or so. We will definitely be back again.
Upkeep
Full of leaves in the fairways,and sand traps greens are Slow as molasses.interesting layout
Disapointing
The greens were not in good condition at all. The cart path would need repairs in several places. However,, the bunkers were in excellent condition.
Great course working on itself
This was a delight to play. Undulations on the greens, blind shots and water hazards were all complementary to the course. They are working on recovering many of the greens but with a little time I’m sure they’ll get it back. Will return
Fun round
I was solo. Paired me up with three great guys. Had a blast!
Hidden Gem
First tee time of the day. friendly greeting at the bag drop. Course overseeded and in excellent condition. My friend and I were impressed with the aesthetics of the neighborhood. Beautiful well kept homes. Good lunch on the veranda after our round.. We'll be back later in the Spring.
