Had it not been for painfully slow pace of play, I would say it was great.

Played after week of rain and course held up nicely. Good value for modest price

For about a week a few weeks back the course was spectacular. Unfortunately it has gone back to its usual mediocre standing. I doubt I will ever be back. Played her over 25 times this year, but it's time to part ways. If you are a member you can drive on the green, otherwise you are just another $ sign... You will be hounded. One par 4 on the back 9 is worth mentioning as in great shape. 1 out of 18 is not acceptable. The rest of the course is very distasteful. Carolina National will be getting my $ for here on out...

This was my first time playing this course. I'm a novice really. I've only been playing since Covid shut us down. I ended up paired with other guys i didn't know. They all said it's a pretty tough course. But, I loved it. I still ended with a 111. Which, is 9 better than my average. I'll be back! Oh, and lost of wildlife to enjoy along the course as well...fox, black squirrels and alligators.

Really nice course, tight fairways, greens rolled true. Lots of water and bunkers which makes this a shot maker course. Will play again. You don’t go back to clubhouse at turn, so bring your own drinks and snacks with you, no drink cart. We got behind a 4 some That were extremely slow which caused us to need a little over 2 hours to play 6 holes but when they cleared, we played the back 9 in about 1:40, they should have waved us through. (But this doesn’t have anything to do with the course, maybe a ranger would have helped.)

Good straightforward layout and friendly staff. Would come back and play again when in the area. Water on almost every hole so pay attention to the yardage card and a range finder is handy to shoot the flags marking the waters edge.

Played in the morning and asked what the condition was from starter said the greens were not like the putting green but in actuality they were exactly like that doing a lot of maintenance maybe in the spring will be ok

Not worth an hour drive but a well maintained course. Nothing fancy. No major memory yo talk about. Only hole 18 is worth mentioning as it ends facing the waterway.

Water on most holes but not in play. Only if you hook or slice real badly.

Great pace of play. Great choice if you're in the area for less than $40. Just not worth an hour up and an hour back to myrtle beach.

Played as a single and there was a slow foursome in front of me. But was told by starter that this group will play slow. He said I could go back and replay holes .Which I took my time and was able to play extra shots off tee and around the green. Course was in great shape.

The Starter was very nice and gave me info on the course and its history. It was about an hour drive for me.

I would drive 2 hours for an experience like this course gave...

The starter rushed us to the tee 15 minutes ahead of our tee time without the opportunity to visit the practice green. The conditions weren't great with dirt patches on the greens and in the fairways. Lots of water and out of bounds provide a good challenge. Would not choose this course over Carolina National when given the choice.
