About
Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

Affordable and playable

Great course for the price
The fairways are recently Aerified as were the greens .However they were punched with a small bore and putts were not really affected by it.Hedgesville WV

Good OBX course
Perhaps slightly narrower than other surrounding courses, Seascape is more challenging than what the scorecard may suggest. Select tees carefully
It's in good shape. The greens rolled well. Fairways are not in prime shape yet until we get some heat for growth to occur.
There's no practice range here so be ready to putt a little bit and go.
I recommend to all levels. Enjoy the round!

Great Off Season Rate and Course
Course was in great condition for the time of year and a real treat to play while we were in town. No driving range was the only negative but we managed on a perfect sunny 60 degree day. Clubhouse service after the round was awesome and the food was great too!

Great course even in off season
Course was in great shape being that the grass was dormant. Greens were fast but true and were green. Not a lot of golfers out so finished just over three hours. The course looked great but must be beautiful during the spring and summer months. Don’t be scared off by the links term. I would play again!

It’s Winter…But We Golfed
We were checked in and ready to go in short order. Staff was very friendly. Course was in good shape. Greens were well manicured and fairly quick. Sand Traps were well cared for as well. The fairways were hunkered down for the winter but still some grass beneath the ball.. We played the course twice this week. The fairways are relatively narrow and if you miss the short stuff, you are generally in trouble. A number of dog legs and surprisingly there are elevated greens and a few hills which you wouldn’t expect on the Outer Banks. No shortage of water obstacles. Bottom line…a great course.

Nice course in OBX. Nice layout, challenging holes and friendly staff. Best part is the Sandtrap tavern with an excellent happy hour to enjoy food and beverages after your round! I'll be back!
