Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

Not bad for a public course
Overall pretty standard. Short course 6100 for the tips. Few holes are tricked up . . $135 is a bit high but also it was tourist season so I get it. Greens rolled Quick and true . I’m not gonna go and brag about it to my buddies but I would come back to play again. Sand trap bar is nice and the cart girl made her rounds so I was never thirsty .
Not worth the money
I played two other courses while on vacation last week although Sea Scape course was in good condition and the staff very friendly, the course was overpriced compared to what it offered.
Just ‘eh
No driving range is a bad start. The yardages for the holes just seem off. The greens were ok but the fairways were ragged. For the money I’d rather play Kilmarlic.
JPK golf
Greens were all very good. They were the best part of the course. Fairways were ok but not the greatest. They were full of sand filled divots so the course has been played a lot for this early in the season. Pace of play was very slow as we were behind a group of four women. Almost 10-15 minute wait for every shot. Course has been a good course to play in the past. The course is worth playing just because the greens were so good.
Glad I got to play with a member.
I got a tee time as a single, told the starter I would be happy to pair up with someone. He talked to a single member and a twosome and we played as a foursome. I was happy the starter went to the trouble, the course layout had more than a few surprises and playing with a member was really helpful. Had a great time, and will definitely go back if I'm in town again.
Fun and challenging
This course was fun but challenging at the same time. Par 5’s and par 3’s were plentiful and seemed very getable. However, the biggest threat was the wind. One of the guys I played with said this course will usually have wind, just not as much as today. I will definitely come back and play here again. Lastly, the price was the best out of all the other courses around and the up keep was great for the price.
Love this course
Staff is always extra friendly and helpful. Enjoy playing this course. Greens were in excellent condition but fairways hadn't quite grown in yet. Will definitely be back.
Wide open
The staff was great and very knowledgeable. The only complaint would be that the fairways needed time to grow in. Would definitely play again.
Great course
Relatively short, challenging, good layout with deep, pit bunkers and readable, consistent greens. Great location, friendly, helpful folks and a sociable bar/restaurant. Some dirt patches in the fairways but I'm picky. Worth playing.
Staff very friendly cost reasonable course could be in better shape particularly fairways greens were in good shape interesting course design would definitely play it again
Top notch greens!
Challenging course at times, despite being less than 5900 yards. The greens were amazing. The crew really takes care of the course and are very friendly and helpful. I’d play it again first chance I get.

Nice layout, staff was friendly and informative . Nice layout you don’t have to hit drive on every hole, very enjoyable!
