Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

Fun and challenging
This course was fun but challenging at the same time. Par 5’s and par 3’s were plentiful and seemed very getable. However, the biggest threat was the wind. One of the guys I played with said this course will usually have wind, just not as much as today. I will definitely come back and play here again. Lastly, the price was the best out of all the other courses around and the up keep was great for the price.
Love this course
Staff is always extra friendly and helpful. Enjoy playing this course. Greens were in excellent condition but fairways hadn't quite grown in yet. Will definitely be back.
Wide open
The staff was great and very knowledgeable. The only complaint would be that the fairways needed time to grow in. Would definitely play again.
Great course
Relatively short, challenging, good layout with deep, pit bunkers and readable, consistent greens. Great location, friendly, helpful folks and a sociable bar/restaurant. Some dirt patches in the fairways but I'm picky. Worth playing.
Staff very friendly cost reasonable course could be in better shape particularly fairways greens were in good shape interesting course design would definitely play it again
Top notch greens!
Challenging course at times, despite being less than 5900 yards. The greens were amazing. The crew really takes care of the course and are very friendly and helpful. I’d play it again first chance I get.
Sea Scape Spring trip
Nice layout, staff was friendly and informative . Nice layout you don’t have to hit drive on every hole, very enjoyable!
Great layout/ bad condition
Seascape has some great holes but the conditioning needs some work. Mind you, time of year might have played a large part. Would love to play when conditions are at their peak.
Play Only if you Have Discounts
The course doesn't have a driving range yet the first hole is a Par 5. If the course was a 9 holes versus an 18 hole I probably would of rated it much higher. The back 9 nine layout feels more like an executive course all par 4s and 3s. They price the course based on having a captured audience.
Love the wide open fairways
Most of the holes except maybe #18 had wide open fairways. Also, there weren't many holes with water until the back 9. The course wasn't overly-challenging which made for a very enjoyable round.

November OBX
The starter was friendly and got us off early. They were starting on #10 that day which is a tighter shot than the first fairway which is very wide. I didn’t see a driving range.
