Sea Scape Golf Links in Kitty Hawk, N.C. is one of the premier courses on the Outer Banks. The course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links layout thanks to the seaside location and landscape of windswept dunes. The golf course differs from a classic open links design because of the coastal forests that accent the terrain, which provides some shelter from the ocean breezes. The vibrant blue waters contrast beautifully with the dark green treetops. The most challenging feature of the golf course is the constant up and down. Golfers will face uneven lies as well as blind shots. Sea Scape Golf Links is relatively short at 6,131 yards from the back tees but it plays longer due to the variety of elevation changes, which range from subtle to dramatic.

Sea scape
No range. Decent conditions. Would not play again.

Great course
The course is great to play. From the scorecard it looks like a short course, but plays longer. Firm and fast greens, a good test of golf for any player!

Pace of Play
For $135 a round there should at least be a ranger to maintain pace of play. The 2 groups in front of me merged together and we’re playing as a 5 some and didn’t allow my 2 man group to play through. I was waiting an average of 10 minutes for each shot. Definitely not worth the money and won’t be going back.

Over priced
$145 for this course on a Thursday is ridiculous. Greens were terrible. I had to fix about three ball marks per put. Fairways were well maintained though. Would be a great course for about $55. Best thing they have going is their bar and grill is nice.

First time Sea Scape
This was my first time playing here. Windy day with plenty of sun. Course is tree lined and a little tight at times. Mix of holes with some water here and there. Some blind shots on back 9 but group in front of us quit after 9. Either i wasnt looking at the right times but i never saw the ocean from the course. No biggie. Enjoyable. Would play again.

Nice Vacation Course
Course was in great shape. Relatively easy if you can keep the ball in play, left or right of the fairway you'll never find your ball. Greens were super slow. Pace of play was painful but it is peak season here. Would not pay full rate but if you can catch a deal it's worth it.

Best Bet on the OBX!
Seascape is your best bet for a great golfing experience on the Outer Banks. A true links style course that winds along the sand dunes and back into the maritime forest of the OBX. Fairways are in impeccable shape, and the greens roll true. Staff is super friendly and professional. Sandtrap Tavern has great food available too. Breakfast is the best.
