Chester Golf Club

Head pro very friendly, nice course, good condition, great greens. A good challenge from the back tees and fair for every golfer.

The course is in excellent shape. The greens are extremely fast, but roll true. The staff was friendly and understanding as my son came with me as an unscheduled playing partner. This course is worth the drive from Charlotte. 4.5 stars. It would be a five if the club house offered some better food choices.

Played late in the day after a tournament but, staff was great very helpful. Course is in good shape with a lot of holes that off the tee required club selection and shot placement. Lot of fun to play

Chester is a gem! Excellent course for folks who are learning as well as a scratch golfer.

Jumped out for a quick 9 after work and thoroughly enjoyed this course. It's not difficult by any stretch, but some strategic bunkering and pitched greens make misses tougher to recover from.

Course conditions are great. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Greens were slower than what I'm used to but rolled true. I took it upon myself to fix as many ball marks as I could (as we all should). Most of the tees were in solid shape with only a few being a little chewed up. Most of these are in the shade so it's a bit of a miracle they get grass to grow there anyway.

Overall I was very happy with the experience and will definitely come back again. Kudos to Chester's management and keep up the good work!

This is a nice course that a little off the beaten path but not really hard to get to and is well worth the trip. The bermuda fairways are in peak condition and the rough is lush but not extremely penalizing. The greens are in great shape and rolling fast. The bunkers are well kept with clean sand. A couple of tee boxes were in bad shape but it really did not matter.

It is a fair layout that is pretty wide open but not bland by any means. There are slight elevation changes and most of the holes turn one way or another. There are just a few minor forced carries over water hazards. The challenge of this course is in the greens and some pretty sporty pin placements.

The staff was nice, a low frills clubhouse, the carts are in good shape and there is a practice area, There was no beverage cart but as long as I have water I'm fine. Will certainly return.

Course is in very good shape. Played 18 on a very busy weekend and in spite of that, the course and greens were in excellent condition.

This course is a gem, smooth fairways and fast greens ! You can challenge your game from various tees and they are all tough ! It's a wide open course with some challenging holes. The staff is great and the club house is stocked with hats, shirts and plenty of other golf gear. You'll be glad you played here !!

The course is nice well kept but the tee boxes needs treatment bare ground on many of them besides that i would recommend to anybody this place

Very challenging course with a beautiful layout. Greens are fast and in great shape. I had to use about every club in the bag I believe which is a nice change from driver and wedge courses. Weather was beautiful and hot dogs were amazing! Give this course a try, you won't be disappointed!!!

We played the course on the day of the solar eclipse!!!! That was fun in itself! The pace was great. The greens rolled true and they were in very good shape. Some holes were more challenging than others, bringing water into play.

The week day fees were very reasonable and we would not hesitate to play there again.

I have played Chester 25+ times and will be back, I drive nearly an hour and it is well worth it. Always in excellent shape ~ and the staff is very friendly.
