About
Northwoods Golf Club is one of the Columbia area's premier public courses. P.B. Dye, son of renowned course architect Pete Dye, designed the layout, incorporating some of his father's signature features. The golf course is player friendly enough to appeal to any skill level but there are some challenges in store as well. Mature trees line most of the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers that come into play. You won't come across much water on this golf course and it's not terribly long either. It's gentle enough for beginners to approach with confidence. The golf course's signature hole is the par-4 14th, which features the famous Dye railroad ties bordering a lake that hugs the bunkered green. Northwoods G.C. also offers a practice facility with a lighted driving range and putting green.

Very solid course and great staff
Course was phenomenal in my opinion and I will absolutely be coming back asap
Good value
Although they had just worked on greens, we enjoyed a relaxing day.
Good value for price
Greens and staff were the best part. Greens were slow but well maintained for public course, Cart path and bunkers in rough shapes. Most tee boxes were average and had to find flat spot.

Really nice greens
The greens and fairways were really green and manicured. Cart paths are awful. It has some nice shady areas.
Day on the course
Overall the course was great! Gorgeous views and in good shape. Recent rains made it cart path only but that is to be expected. Fairways and greens were well maintained. The only negative I experienced was cart Attendant was quite brash and the snack area cashier was clipping BK coupons and seemed perturbed that I interrupted her to order a beverage. Customer service refresher could possibly be needed. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my round.
Beautiful course
The course was in good shape despite the recent rains. It was cart path only because of the recent weather. Great views and good fairway conditions. Bunkers were unplayable because of rain. The staff was a little disappointing. Not very friendly and seemed to not enjoy their job. Cart attendant was rude and snack bar worker was clipping coupons when I ordered a beverage. Definitely could use a customer service refresher. Price of round was very reasonable.

Excellent.
820 tee time. Only bird in a threesome. The best greens to try. Shot a 104. Lost two balls hole one on me. Great experience
Good for the money
Good value. Nice condition. Pace of play was terrible.
It took 5 hours to finish and there were people waiting ahead and behind us.

I will not use Golf Now ever again, it was cheaper to go direct than the "deal" at Golf Now

Awesome layout, easy to find friends
Everytime I play here, I make a new friend. Always awesome people on the course.
The only thing keeping the course from being totally exquisite is the amount of traffic, but given how busy it is, the staff keep it in great shape. Usually having so much traffic would leave a course in shambles, but you can tell they work to undo the damage.
Cool layout, sometimes the pin positions are a bit tough, but never outright unfair
