About
This Willard Byrd design was sculpted through the rolling hills surrounding Puppy Creek. Created under a traditional concept with 18 distinctive holes the Bayonet is a course that the golfer will never tire of playing. Many consider The Bayonet as the "Best Kept Secret in the Sandhills".

Beautiful Course
Course stays in amazing condition. The greens rolled fast but true. Not a long course and you can certainly live without driver.
Awesome Experience
What a beautiful course! We stopped here on our way from Greensboro to North Myrtle Beach. God was smiling down on us that day. We will be making a more trips to Bayonet. Can’t wait to play here again!

Watch out for rain
Carts don’t have rain covers in the back so our clubs got absolutely soaked in the rain. Can’t believe there was no rain cover on these carts, I’ve honestly never seen that outside of Arizona.

Welcome to N.C.
I was down here from Ohio. Played the course with rented clubs. Conditions were great for the middle of summer. The staff was outstanding and kudos to the grounds crew for keeping the course in top shape. The range, short game area, and practice green were a nice bonus. Thanks for a great day in N.C.

First time played and I loved it. Course layout and conditions were great. The few staff folks I talked to were super. Really enjoyed the round. I’ll be back for sure.

Bayonet is the best golf course in the entire Fayetteville area. It is always is great condition and the you can’t beat the cost!

Course is in really good shape right now. Probably the best I have seen it in years. If you can find it for under $60 it’s a steal

We love going here. It is one of the few well-kept, affordable places to play remaining in this area. The staff is friendly in the course is in great shape with plenty of challenges. Highly recommend giving it a try.
