About
This Willard Byrd design was sculpted through the rolling hills surrounding Puppy Creek. Created under a traditional concept with 18 distinctive holes the Bayonet is a course that the golfer will never tire of playing. Many consider The Bayonet as the "Best Kept Secret in the Sandhills".

In great shape, good course
Course is in really good shape right now. Probably the best I have seen it in years. If you can find it for under $60 it’s a steal
Beautiful course and great value
We love going here. It is one of the few well-kept, affordable places to play remaining in this area. The staff is friendly in the course is in great shape with plenty of challenges. Highly recommend giving it a try.
Great Time
Great layout and pace of play here despite 2 separate tournaments taking place (15 players each). The middle stretch of holes really challenges you to take less than driver from the tee and a few holes have great risk-reward opportunities from the tee. Greens were a bit slow and tricky.

Course is in great shape and pace of play was perfect on a Saturday. Definitely worth the price.
Really nice course! Worth the drive.
Really interesting course in great shape. The layout has a lot of ups and downs across all of the holes. Fair and open most of the holes with a few exceptions. A little challenging the first time as you figure out the right clubs to hit off the tee, but the second time is wonderful.

Whenever we are in the area visiting family this has been a favorite to play. Tee to greens were looking good!
Well kept and challenging
I truly enjoy playing here. It is a great course for everyday players with enough challenges to keep it interesting. It is also one of the few affordable nice places to play in the Pinehurst area.
Definitely look forward to returning.

Great course some off season repairs done, coming out of winter. Greens are awesome

You can’t go wrong playing this course.30 minutes from Pinehurst and the price is probably 50% plus cheaper for the same course.Greens very good.They are doing work on drainage which is needed,It will only get better.
