About
Village Greens Golf Club sprawls across over 100 acres of what used to be farmland situated between Inman and Gramling. Remnants of the old farm can be seen throughout the course, including pear trees from the original orchard that line the 10th fairway. When the golf course was built in 1969, many new trees were planted but much care was taken so as not to obstruct the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing nearly every hole with views that stretch from Glassy Mountain to Chimney Rock. The layout has a classic design that is playable for a wide range of skill levels. Sparkling lakes and ponds accent the landscape, coming into play on a few holes. Village Greens Golf Club's most memorable water hole is the course's signature sixth. This short par 3 features a semi-island green that is surrounded by water on two sides, along with three bunkers and out-of-bounds on the right.

Great course
Course is in good shape. Little short. Nice from tee box to green. Got pretty log jammed but it wasn’t that bad. Picked up with a 3some and enjoyed my round.

Best score ever!
The Greens were in absolute amazing shape. The ball rolled out perfectly. I was able to shoot my best score that I ever shot. Can’t wait to go back!

The golf course itself is in good condition but... The greens have just been punched maybe within the past week or so so I would wait a couple weeks to come out on this course if you're looking to shoot a low score. Other than that that Fairways and sand traps are in good shape.

Great Shape
This course was in Great shape!!! I got out as a 4 some but went off on my own. The tees and Greens were perfect!! Finished in 3 hours.

Very nice course
Our group plays several courses in the area but keep coming back to Village Greens.. It is our favorite course, a challenging but fair layout. Staff is super friendly and the pace of play keeps the round going , usually around 4 hours! Definitely recommended!

This is a great course
The staff was very friendly. I got there a few minutes late my group had already started but they did bring a forth person. The starter was nice enough and let me start on the tenth tee. The course is well kept the fairways rolled very good. They did punch the greens but they was still they still rolled true. I can't wait to play there again.

Nice Foothills course
This was a nice course with a great pace of play even on a holiday. I teed off at 7:30am and was paired with a couple of nice men who knew the course. They only played the front nine, but were very helpful since you have a lot of blind shots on this course. There were a few greens that are under repair, but for the most part, they were fast and true. If you reach 18 in three, be glad and take your par and go have a beer. It is a tricked up hole with a blind tee shot and right and left dog legs.
