Village Greens Golf & Country Club
About
Village Greens Golf Club sprawls across over 100 acres of what used to be farmland situated between Inman and Gramling. Remnants of the old farm can be seen throughout the course, including pear trees from the original orchard that line the 10th fairway. When the golf course was built in 1969, many new trees were planted but much care was taken so as not to obstruct the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing nearly every hole with views that stretch from Glassy Mountain to Chimney Rock. The layout has a classic design that is playable for a wide range of skill levels. Sparkling lakes and ponds accent the landscape, coming into play on a few holes. Village Greens Golf Club's most memorable water hole is the course's signature sixth. This short par 3 features a semi-island green that is surrounded by water on two sides, along with three bunkers and out-of-bounds on the right.

Always a good play.
Love this course! Just wish it was closer to me. I come from Hendersonville as often as I can. Thanks for the good time!!
Nice design
The course is in great shape. Very green. Greens roll true. Nice course to walk.
Revisit to Village Greens
I revisited Village Greens in Gramling, SC on Tuesday, May 8th. It was a beautiful day and our golf experience at Village Greens was memorable. The course was in great shape. The amenities were first rate and everyone at the course was very friendly. The new clubhouse is really nice. I drove about 65 miles one way to play and I will be back again.
Great course!
1st time at Village Greens. Awesome layout, greens in great shape, fairways good for early May ( will be really nice come warm weather). We will be back. My son and I were first off the box 8 AM start. Drove one hour to play here. Friendly staff. Bring a full set of clubs... you may use them all!
Always a Pleasure to Play
A well stocked pro shop and the staff was friendly for an early Friday morning. A little frost on the ground but we had no problems getting off on time. It's winter golf so we understand the lack of grass, etc. A little disappointed in the care of the greens. Could be wrong but it didn't look like the debris had been blown off the greens. Because we played early, we could certainly expect those conditions on the first 2-3 greens but expected them to be in better shape by the time we reached holes 4 and 5. Dickies BBQ is always a nice treat after playing.
All in all, a fun and fair course to play and we'll be back again.
Over 5 hour play
The course was in bad shape. They had a dog fight that caused a delay in our game we gsp had to wait on every hole it took over 5 hours to p,ay 18 holes. They state that the play time is 4 hours and 10 minutes. There was no ranger on duty to help move play along. One of our players fell in a pond that looked like the edge was at least 6 ft away. When he stepped on what looked like solid ground he fell at least 4 ft into the water. This was not roped off or any signs, when we brought it to their attention they said he should not have gone in the hazard however there was no indication of the hazard. We let them know about the delay in play and they just said there were 80 players out there. The customer service from the pro shop was horrible all they did is try to put it back on the customer. Will never play there again.
Village Greens Inman SC
Course was extremely wet and had to stay on cart paths only
Excellent Day
Friendly staff course in good condition pace of play was great.
Village Greens is Great
Always a great course to play. Challeging and fun. The staff is always friendly and helpful.. Great course.
What an awesome course!
I have been meaning to play this course but never found the right time. I found out what I've been missing! From the first tee to the last putt this course is an absolute gem; a fair mix of challenging to moderately difficult holes and no two holes are the same. The Bermuda fairways provided perfect lies, the rough was manageable and the greens were fast and true. I will definitely be back to play again! This is a"must play" course if you're in the area.
Great course
Course is amazing!!
Rangers should patrol course more. Course was full and pace was slow due to a lot of foursomes but doesn't mean groups should drive in on you while you are waiting your turn in fairway. My group of a threesome was almost hit while waiting our turn behind a foursome.
Home Course
Love the course it is challenging, greens and fairways in great shape. My only complaint is (and this only applies in the cold months) is 18 is a par 5 dog leg left and you have a lay up area that stays wet during that time and its just about impossible to lay it up without plugging the ball, the water run off is terrible I've often wondered why they don't bring in some fill dirt, most of the lay up area is on a slight slope down hill from the edge of a pond and the bank is only a few inches higher than fairway. Not intending to trash these guys they do a great job out there
Great course for intermediate golfers
This course is well-maintained and is for average to advanced golfers. There are some very fun holes.
Great course
My one critique here is if i book a tee time for 12:44 p.m. i would like to have a cart and tee off at or atleast right around 12:44. I mean come on game aint cheap bruh! Running out of carts?
Alot of fun. enjoyable
This was my first visit to Village Greens. I was paired with a very nice group. We played from the white tees and even though I have lost a little distance over the years, I am now 56 years old, I was able to reach 3 of the 4 par 5's in 2 fairly well. The 18th, which is a par 5 is a bit awkward because of its configuration. But, I have played much worse so, it was ok. I think I could play from the back tees and still enjoy myself. The greens were in good condition and pretty fast. I like that! The fairways were in good shape as well. Overall, I really liked the course and will play it again. Maybe this coming weekend!
Village Greens
Very friendly staff, course is always well maintained. Played on a Tuesday afternoon and had the course to myself. The food is excellent at the barbecue restaurant on the property Playing here is always a pleasant experience.
