Rude Staff. Surrounded by mower and lawn equipment the entire front 9, it was never quiet. Then I was interupted in the middle of a shot by staff member on hole 10 about playing through even though the course was Extremly slow that day. A very frustrating round of golf. Will not be back.

Holes are challenging and very picturesque. Greens were slow and fairways and tees brown but it is still off season. Staff was extremely friendly.

First time here for me and my golf buddy, and we were glad we found this place. The course is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful and the grill has the largest most diverse menu of any golf course I've ever been to. They actually smoke BBQ on site. The greens are plush and moderately fast, the fairways are nice and the rough is not too high. We will certainly go back to play here again!

One of my favorite layouts in the SC foothills.

Lots of shots to be made.... uphill / down hill, fairways tilt left & right, and if that's not enough it will be real handy if you can move the ball both ways.

Greens (bermuda) always in good shape and plenty of movement. Bermuda fairways just starting to go dormant with the late fall.

Really nice track overall.

The only gripe I've ever had (and always will) is the 18th hole.

A par 5 with a double layup....Can't use a driver unless you're a short hitter (less than 220 off the tee) trees left, pond rt and a blocked path to the green from there, leaves 140 - 160 layup to the approach area.

It's tricked up due to the lack of length. Can be a very frustrating end to a great day on a very good course.

Would prefer they clear the trees blocking the 2nd shot to the green and play it as long 4 par, for a Par 71.

I've played here three times in spring, summer and fall of 2016. Course conditions great every time. The value of play does not compare to other public courses in upstate SC. Great course for your dollar.

Course was in great shape from tee to green, greens were very slow. Pace of play wasn't good on the front 9. There was a threesome that was holding up the golf course, they drove their carts all over the golf course, even pulled up next to the greens. But, fortunately for us, they stopped to eat at the turn and we were able to get in front of them.

Course is in great shape. Greens were fast and held.

Course was in very good condition even after tournament. Greens rolled fast and true. Could not beat the "Hot Deal" value.

Course was in fantastic condition. Fairways were great and greens were amazing. Had a tee time of 8AM I believe and played 18 without ever waiting (Weekday), the pace was great. You'd be hard pressed to play a better course for the money, will absolutely go back.

Village Greens continues to upgrade their amenities, and the course is always in fine shape.

If the cart paths were refurbished, I would rate it even higher. I enjoy the character of the layout, and the value is there as well, especially with Golf Now!

This course was in great shape, the staff was friendly and helpful and the club house and restaurant was great. It was very hot the day we played, 94 degrees and 80% humidity, so that wasn't good, but not the fault of the course. I can't wait to play there again, when it cools off a little. It had some long par 4 holes that were a challenge for me, 20+ handicap, but the course and area was beautiful. I'll go again soon, thanks

I say hidden simply because it's in a remote area away from larger cities. I will certainly play this course again before the end of summer. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape. Shorter course that makes you think with the dog legs around the course. You can't simply step up with a driver and smash the it. Some holes will require a 3 or 5 wood off the tee while #2 is an iron unless you can shape your shots. Played the blues.

It's a tight course with several holes leaving little room for wayward drives. Either the woods or OB stakes will get you.

My only complaint revolves around the mowing of the greens. After the second hole I had a guy mowing the green or waiting to mow the green on every hole until the 14th when I caught up with other golfers. While I appreciate the care and maintenance being seen to, it would've been nice to simply be able to play without waiting on multiple holes. There was no one behind me and no one in front of me for most of the day. Normally 5 minutes here or there isn't a big deal, but this lengthened my round by 20-25 minutes. Bad thing is, a storm blew in while I was on 18 and I got soaked! Without the waiting I would've been clear of the storm.

Although the course is not long (6,200 from the back tees) it is well laid out using woods, roads and water to make for a fun but tricky layout. Friendly staff and good clubhouse and pro shop - good have used a couple more water stops out there but that's about the only minor grumble. Its distance from Greenville is the only deterrent but it's worth the effort to check it out

Really. Nice course with super friendly Staff! On Site resturant very nice and Staff there very friendly as well. Only reason for not giving 5 stars on ourse condition , less than 2 wks since top dress look forward to playing soon!

Some weird holes. Most greens in great shape. Foursome in front of us was 2 holes behind.

I've been playing this course for years now and it's never looked as good as it does now! Fairways are thick and green and the greens are rolling beautifully! It's a course made for scoring but adds toughness through quick greens and holes designed to force you to lay up. Definitely worth the $30

The only negative my group experienced was not having any idea of the layout, when we go back the scores will be better.
