About
Village Greens Golf Club sprawls across over 100 acres of what used to be farmland situated between Inman and Gramling. Remnants of the old farm can be seen throughout the course, including pear trees from the original orchard that line the 10th fairway. When the golf course was built in 1969, many new trees were planted but much care was taken so as not to obstruct the view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, providing nearly every hole with views that stretch from Glassy Mountain to Chimney Rock. The layout has a classic design that is playable for a wide range of skill levels. Sparkling lakes and ponds accent the landscape, coming into play on a few holes. Village Greens Golf Club's most memorable water hole is the course's signature sixth. This short par 3 features a semi-island green that is surrounded by water on two sides, along with three bunkers and out-of-bounds on the right.

Excellent Value
Greens were somewhat inconsistent and could use a little work. It appeared that they are addressing this issue. The fairways are starting to come in nicely. Other than that, it is a very nice course. Staff is very welcoming and informative. With plenty of blind shots and water obstacles, it is a challenging course no matter your skill. Luckily for beginning players it is fairly open so missed shots can be found fairly easily. Highly recommended checking this one out.
Very fun course
The course was very fun and challenging to play. This course will make you use every club in your bag. The only negative thing to say about this course is the cart paths, they are in bad shape.

This course is one of the best kepy courses in the upstate, and the best when it comes to value for your money!
Great staff...fun and qwerky course
Enjoyed talking with the staff and play 18 holes of winter golf. Course makes you look and decide what best to hit off the tee. 18 is a little over the top with a double dog leg and trees.
Trying to play in winter
The weather changed from when we made our tee time and it was too cold to play. We ask for a "rain check" and was denied. We were told none for golfnow customers. This was disappointing as a rain check would have been a nice jester of goodwill because 46 degrees in a 20 mile per hour wind was too much. I will remember that and probably not play this course.

Great Winter Golf
Had a great round of golf at village greens. Great course and the price was great. The people at village greens are always nice and make you feel like a friend and a member. Will certainly pay here more often.

A Hidden Gem Outside The City Limits :-)
A very nice course with quite a few challenges and surprises. The greens were super tricky and difficult to read, and very fast. All Par 3 holes posed a challenge. The finishing hole was quite a treat and accurate ball placement is essential.

Great course, in great shape, greens just right. #18 still a illegal hole, yet to find someone has made it in two. Love playing this course and you to.
A great day for gold
I play as a twosome with a friend of mine. We had a wonderful time as the weather was picture perfect (Blue sky, 70 degrees) and the course was in good shape. Played some of my best golf this year. The clubhouse staff was very friendly and helpful and they have a great 19th hole, a barbecue restaurant. You'll have a great time if you find your way up to this beautiful course.

Some challenging holes that require good ball placement mixed with traditional hole layouts. The course was in great shape. I always enjoy playing Village Greens.

Great value for the money
Course was in really good shape. Very green fairways. Greens were giving a true roll. We got a great deal of $15.... Unbelievable deal for quality of this course... Will definitely be back!

Had a great time playing the course on friday. Everything was in great shape ppl were nice and friendly. The only thing that I didn't really care about was we were group with an extra player. The gentleman that was placed with us was a great guy but when I made the tee times it for two players. I feel if we wanted to play with an extra we would have brought the extra. I feel this should be a choice if you want someone add to your group

Greens and fairways are in great shape thanks to the rain. Greens rolled slow. Cart paths need some work.
Village Green
The course was in pretty good condition . It was raining so we were cart path only making for a long day. A couple of greens were pretty bad but they were working on them. Like this course alright but the club house staff are not very friendly. The starter was very nice. this is not the first time I have found the person on the counter to be very snobbish.
