About
The Preserve at Verdae sprawls across a lush landscape of rolling hills and meadows covered with beautiful Carolina forests. Formerly known as Verdae Greens, the golf course was completely revamped but one of the primary goals of the renovation was to find harmony between golf and nature. The carefully reworked course does just that, blending seamlessly into its scenic surroundings. Rambling brooks wander across the layout and provide water hazards on a few holes. The wind is also a major factor on this golf course. The breezes can be either light and refreshing or strong and blustery, making proper club selection even more important. The most photographed hole on the golf course is the par-3 second. If you're lucky enough to come when the azaleas are blooming, this hole offers a breathtaking setting.

Toughest greens to putt on in SC
Course was in great shape, but the greens were too fast for your avterage player. I am a 12 handicap and shot a 101 from the blue tees with 13 three putts. I struck the ball well, but the pin placement on some of the greens were impossible. Nice staff and course if up for a challenge.
The course was great.
The course was challenging but not overwhelming. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pace of play was a little slow but we needed that with our level of play, the group in front of us was always in sight but never hindered us.
A definite must play.
Went to Myrtle Beach to play golf with friends and wound up at this course because of bad weather conditions at the beach. Well that was my lucky day. Made reservation to play in Greenville and boy was that a good choice. Golf course had great greens, friendly staff, great food in clubhouse, and a course that was not only challenging but just fun to play. I can't wait to go back and playing this course again.
i have played the coures before and it was great this past time was terrible the staff should get control of the speed of play
The pace of play took more than 5 hrs the staff did nothing to correct it
a challenging course with spetacular conditions and very fast greens.
one of my favorite courses to play in Greenville County, great staff, great conditions as well as challenging play. i'll be back!!
Seductive and Alluring
This tract is very challenging, The fairways are seductive and draw you in to making a number of decision. Greens are excellent and some multi-tier greens which again causes you to make a decision. Well worth the money and effort. Staff super friendly and they do you keep you on time with round.
