About
The Preserve at Verdae sprawls across a lush landscape of rolling hills and meadows covered with beautiful Carolina forests. Formerly known as Verdae Greens, the golf course was completely revamped but one of the primary goals of the renovation was to find harmony between golf and nature. The carefully reworked course does just that, blending seamlessly into its scenic surroundings. Rambling brooks wander across the layout and provide water hazards on a few holes. The wind is also a major factor on this golf course. The breezes can be either light and refreshing or strong and blustery, making proper club selection even more important. The most photographed hole on the golf course is the par-3 second. If you're lucky enough to come when the azaleas are blooming, this hole offers a breathtaking setting.

The preserve is the best
This is the best course the public can play in the upstate and having played most of the private ones it would still be my first choice. Every hole is an experience and you can make it as tough as you want depending on the tees you choose. Obviously I love this course and they always remember my name . ... and even after you get to the green some of the toughest tests are still ahead! If you have never played it don't miss out.

Embarrassed
I have played this course before and was happy. Took a customer from out of town to play and was immediately disappointed. We knew the greens had just been punched and were prepared for that, but the tee boxes, fairways, fringes were just awful. Will never play here again.

Great place for a round!
This course is solid. The conditioning is great and the layout is challenging and has a lot of variation. The greens were moderately fast which is good for Bermuda this time of year. The ranger approached us at one point and asked us to keep pace...The guy was clearly not doing his job as there was not a group in front of us within site and most of all no one behind us. Outside of the lazy ranger it was a great experience and i would come back. The green on #9 is a three tier monster...its something from a classic Stranz design! Great upstate track and value.

A real treat so close to downtown Greenville! Very peaceful & course was in fantastic shape- they are working on the bunkers a bit- should be mint by the fall!!

Good day on the course
The greens were in good shape. There were several areas in the.fairways and around the greens that were ‘ground under repair’ for good reason. Overall, I enjoyed the course and love the layout. I will be back for sure.
