Not great, not horrible.
Greens were probably 13 on the stint meter. Some of the greens felt like you were on a putt-putt course with 3 different levels. Sometimes there was no way to stop the ball from going off the green on a 10' putt downhill. Layout is kind of sporadic, especially on the back, but it was an OK course. Glad I played it.
Must get a ton of play because greens were full of pitch marks. Most were un-repaired.
Tee boxes need some work.
Compared to other courses I play in the area, it was in average shape.

Challenging course
My son and I really enjoy Golden Hills. It's challenging, in good condition, and convenient to Lexington. Number 10 is a beautiful hole. The overall course layout is really nice.

Play here often. Don’t like design on a few holes , but course is in fantastic shape , greens are as good as you could ask for right now.
